[WHY WON'T MY HEEL PAIN GO AWAY!]
That nagging heel pain when you first get out of bed, stand after sitting, or start walking can be a sign of plantar fasciitis.
It’s one of the most common causes of heel pain we see at Complete Podiatry and a question we’re often asked is:
ā€œWill it eventually just go away?ā€
While some cases may improve over time, simply waiting and hoping isn’t always the best approach, particularly if the pain keeps returning or is stopping you from doing the things you enjoy.
In our latest blog, we look at why plantar fasciitis develops, whether it can resolve on its own, and what you can do to help get your feet feeling comfortable again.

[DID YOU KNOW WE OFFER TRIGGER POINT DRY NEEDLING!]
Trigger Point Dry Needling is a treatment that can be particularly useful in the management of musculoskeletal pain, tight muscles and trigger points.
Using a very fine needle, dry needling targets specific areas of tight or irritated muscle, helping to reduce muscle tension, improve movement and assist with pain management.
At Complete Podiatry, our podiatrists may use dry needling as part of a broader treatment plan for certain foot and lower limb problems.
So, if tight or sore muscles are stopping you from moving comfortably, dry needling may be one of the treatment options we can consider. 🦶
Another way we’re helping people build amazing lives from the feet up! šŸ’™

[IS PAIN HOLDING YOU BACK? SHOCKWAVE THERAPY MAY HELP]
Do you have a long-term foot or leg injury that’s stopping you from doing the things you love?
Maybe you’ve tried different treatments but are still struggling with pain and wondering what to try next.
Shockwave Therapy may be an option for some persistent musculoskeletal conditions.
Shockwave uses high-energy sound waves directed at the affected area to stimulate the tissue and support the body’s natural healing response.
At Complete Podiatry, we use Shockwave Therapy as part of a treatment plan for a range of ongoing foot and lower-limb problems.
If an injury keeps hanging around, it may be time to look at a different approach.

[šŸ‘£ GETTING OUT OF PAIN IS ONLY HALF THE STORY!]
As podiatrists, our goal isn’t simply to help reduce your foot or leg pain.
We want to understand why the pain started in the first place and help you get back to doing the things you love.
Have you ever had treatment, felt better for a while… only for the same pain to return a few months later?
It can be frustrating, but there may be more to consider than simply treating where it hurts.
In our latest blog, we look at how identifying contributing factors, building strength and improving the way your body moves can help you work towards a longer-term solution.

[WHY ARE FEET SO IMPORTANT?]
The human foot is a remarkable piece of engineering that, when it works well, allows us to walk, run, jump, dance and play.
However when we have a problem with our feet, or if they are causing us pain, life’s simplest activities can suddenly become very difficult
