Anyone touched by Motor Neurone Disease (MND) will tell you it's a thief.

In 2024, an MND priority pathway was created for people eligible to apply for the NDIS.

And from today, it's officially on watch as New South Wales becomes the first jurisdiction in Australia to make it a notifiable condition.

That means more evidence about the disease will be gathered, creating greater opportunities for understanding, future planning of healthcare services, and funding for research into its potential causes and possible future treatment options. 💚💪
