Walking the dog 🐕
Grab the lead — we’re heading out!

Support doesn’t always happen inside the home.

It might mean taking the dog for a walk, heading to the park, getting some fresh air or simply having someone alongside you while you get out into your community.

What does independence mean to you?
Independence doesn’t have to mean doing everything without help.
It might mean making your own decisions.
Choosing how you spend your day.
Learning something new.
Speaking up about what you want.
Or having the right support available when you need it.
There’s no single definition of independence.

Life’s ups and downs happen to all of us.
You don’t have to be an expert to have a meaningful R U OK? conversation.

Listening and giving someone your time might be just what they need to help them through.
Ask R U OK because a conversation could change a life.

🙌🏽 Celebrating NAIDOC Week 2026 🙌🏽

From 5–12 July 2026, communities across Australia will come together to celebrate NAIDOC Week and recognise the rich cultures, histories, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year marks a significant milestone as the NAIDOC movement celebrates "50 Years of Deadly"—honouring five decades of First Nations strength, resilience, culture, leadership, and community.

💬 What is NAIDOC Week?
NAIDOC Week is a national celebration of the world's oldest continuing cultures. It provides an opportunity for all Australians to learn, reflect, celebrate, and show their support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

✨ At Inclusive Carers, we are committed to continuing our reconciliation journey by building meaningful relationships, fostering cultural understanding, and creating inclusive communities where everyone feels valued and respected.

Stay tuned as we share more about our reconciliation journey throughout 2026.
