Our 𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗦 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 look beyond the task itself. They assess what is happening, what may be getting in the way, and what practical support could make everyday life safer and easier.

For participants with more complex needs, our Dual Functional Capacity Assessment brings occupational therapy and social work together to provide a clearer picture of daily functioning, goals, environment, and support needs.

🕊️ Soaring Together is hiring! We're looking for 2 amazing Support Workers in South Australia🤝

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives?
Do you have experience or strong knowledge in psychosocial and mental health support?

Soaring Together, a great small team focused on in-home support and community access, is looking for two dedicated support workers for two of our fantastic participants.

Locations: Ascot Park and Southern locations.
Current schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons. There is potential to increase these hours, and we also have ad-hoc shifts available on Mondays and Fridays.

We believe that team retention is directly related to job satisfaction, and we're committed to making sure you feel appreciated and supported every step of the way!

Participant Requirements (as requested):
Female aged 20-28.
Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written.

Must-haves:
Knowledge of/Experience in psychosocial and mental health.
NDIS worker screening clearance.
WWCC (Working With Children Check).
NDIS orientation modules completed.
Currently have or studying towards a certificate in disability or individual support.
Current Drivers License.
Some experience in disability support is also preferred!

We’re pleased to welcome 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗰𝘇 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 to the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱.

Alice will be working from the Hub on select days, offering neuropsychology and assessment services for children aged 5+, adolescents and adults.

Her services include:

• Cognitive and neuropsychological assessments
• Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments
• ADHD assessments
• Functional Capacity Assessments for NDIS participants
• Decision-making capacity assessments

These assessments can help identify cognitive strengths and difficulties, support diagnosis, guide support planning and assist with NDIS access, plan reviews and funding applications.

𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗦 - 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦, 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗘, 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗨𝗡

Soaring Together is proud to introduce Little Baristas, an inclusive school holiday program where young people can discover the art of coffee through practical, hands-on learning.

Across two interactive sessions, participants will explore where coffee comes from, learn espresso extraction and milk texturing, create their own signature drink and practise customer service at a Pop-Up Café.

Along the way, participants will collect stamps in their Barista Passport and work towards earning their Barista Certificate.

Each participant receives:
• A personalised apron
• A Barista Passport
• A gift pack
• A Barista Certificate

Suitable for ages 10–16, with NDIS participants welcome.

A little networking, a lot of laughs, and one very important question:

After some serious discussion, we landed on the T-Rex pose, and honestly, it may be our new expo tradition. 🦖

The Northern Adelaide The Disability Events Community - The DEC was such a great day. We loved connecting with the Gawler community, meeting participants and families, and having a good laugh with other providers along the way.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, and to Plan Partners, Care Squad, My Plan Manager, BUILD Disability Supports and Brew Crew for being such great company.

Days like this are a lovely reminder that building strong community connections can be meaningful and genuinely fun.
