✨Earlier this month, our radiologists Dr James Bewes and Dr Andrew Low, in conjunction with local orthopaedic surgeons , Dr Nicholas Hartnell The Bone Surgeon, Dr Andrew Leicester and the Southern Highlands Private Hospital, ran a teaching clinic to examine and test 24 senior orthopaedic registrars from all over NSW in preparation for their final exams 📝

The morning was a great success and the doctors are looking forward to running the clinic each year in Bowral 😁

We are so excited to FINALLY be up and running with our long-awaited CT service! 😍

We are proud to have one of the best CT machines on the market here in Bowral, boasting advanced low-dose technology, high quality imaging and faster scanning times 🙌🏻

A big thank you to all our wonderful patients and referrers for their patience and understanding whilst we worked through multiple hurdles to get the service functional - we ended up with almost 100 patients on our wait list 🤯

We are now through the backlog and look forward to assisting you with all your CT needs. 🤗

A very exciting day at Gibraltar Radiology with our first day performing MRIs on patients with pacemakers in conjunction with The Tachy Tech! 🥳

Seymoure from The Tachy Tech was onsite all day to oversee the cardiac device programming, monitoring and management of our pacemaker patients ✨

We are proud to be offering this service and be the first in our region to provide it 🥇

We had patients travel from as far as Campbelltown and Wollongong today to take advantage of our shorter wait times - some patients are waiting 6-12 months to be scanned in metropolitan areas for the same service we have offered today 🤯

Today we celebrate our amazing reception team at Gibraltar Radiology and all the incredible reception teams that assist us to ensure patients receive appropriate and timely care at our practice 🙏🏼

Our reception team is a multi-tasking powerhouse that is the backbone of our practice - assisting our radiologists, liaising with our radiographers and sonographers, booking scans for walk-ins, dealing with email enquiries, answering phones, serving patients - all with a smile and it never stops! 😅

We are truly blessed with the best at Gibraltar Radiology and are so grateful for the team we have 🫶🏻

Gibraltar Radiology will be closed for approximately 1hr this afternoon due to a planned complete power outage to our building ⚡️

During this time, we will have no phones or computers. For anything urgent, please email us and we will get back to you as soon as the power has been restored 💡

We are to blame for all works happening outside our practice on the road on Bowral Street BUT it’s all for a good cause… we promise! 🙏🏼

The huge amount of work going on is the start of the electrical upgrade to power up our long awaited CT scanner. All going to plan we will be up and running early in May 🤩

Disruptions to traffic should only last today and we want to thank all our patients and general public for their patience! 🫶🏻

Our two proud radiologists, James and Andrew, were onsite to oversee the arrival of these incredible pieces of equipment ✨

It’s going to be a very busy practice over the next few weeks with installation teams onsite for both machines ⚙️
