Why does real-time feedback matter in CPR?

Because CPR isn’t just about starting - it’s about maintaining effective compressions.

And that’s not always easy.

Fatigue, stress, the environment - and even uncertainty around what to do - can all impact compression rate and depth.

This is especially true if someone has never performed CPR before, or hasn’t done it in a long time.

Pulse Tile™ is being developed to provide real-time feedback during CPR, helping guide rescuers as they respond.

✔️ Compression rate
✔️ Compression depth

Supporting more consistent CPR when it matters most.

Why not just use a pulse oximeter?

We get asked this a lot 👇

Pulse oximeters are commonly used to measure oxygen levels and rely on detecting a steady pulse.

But during a suspected cardiac arrest, things aren’t always so straightforward.

Poor circulation, cold fingers, or movement can make readings unreliable - or mean no reading at all.

That’s where Pulse Tile™ is different.

It’s being developed to:
✔️ Detect the presence of a pulse
✔️ Provide real-time CPR feedback

Helping reduce uncertainty and support better decisions in critical moments.

🎉 Big milestone for Pulsatile Innovations!

We’re proud to share that Elleesha King was named a winner at the MedTech Ignite Innovation Pitch Challenge in Melbourne yesterday.

Pitching Pulse Tile™ live to a panel of industry leaders, Elleesha showcased the potential of faster, more objective pulse detection in cardiac arrest response - and the impact it can have when every second counts.

As part of the win, Pulsatile Innovations has been awarded:
• $30,000 in engineering support from Hydrix
• One-on-one mentoring from each of the expert judges

This recognition is a strong step forward as we continue progressing toward clinical trials and real-world implementation.

A huge thank you to the organisers, judges, and broader MedTech community for the support.
