Awareness is our superpower, we are awareness, consciously creating our reality.

Let this land for a moment: what you pay attention to becomes real for you, not just in your thoughts, but in your body, your senses, and the way you interpret what’s happening. And it shows up in your next choice.

Because awareness doesn’t only notice. It shapes.

When you shift your focus, you often shift what you feel:
- you feel safer when you return to your breath
- you feel steadier when your attention rests in your body
- you feel more empowered when you notice what you actually need

So this is a friendly reminder from me to you: you’re not stuck with what reality serves you. You’re learning the power of how you relate to what’s happening, moment by moment.

And the world around you? It’s created by the world within you.

I used to believe healing only happens after a “true low” — like you have to be broken open to become good at helping others. 🤷‍♀️
But my story has been more like many paths… and many returns.

This share was too long so I’ve popped it in the comments below ⬇️

🌸A not so little share of randomness 🌸

Today reminded me that showing up with love and kindness truly doesn’t go unnoticed. I never show up for recognition. I do it because it feels right because it’s who I am because it helps me stay connected to what matters.

And still it’s been such a beautiful gift to receive so many heartfelt comments from people today.

This morning I was at the aged care facility where I spend some time working. One client was really distressed so in tears when she saw me. She lit up wrapped me in a big hug and said, “How do you always appear when I really need to see you?” I laughed and said, “Just magic I guess!” Then she looked up and whispered, “Thank you God.” My heart nearly overflowed. I could feel her relief the weight shifting just a little.

Later when I was helping another resident to her chair I caught someone smiling after watching our interaction. She said, “You are so very good with people!” I smiled and simply replied, “Thank you. I do like people.”

Then I came home to my gorgeous boys greeted with hugs chats and laughter. That familiar warmth that bond that grows every day. A reminder that the energy of being a present mum to them has created something truly wonderful between us.

Tonight after a sound bath everyone hugged me and told me it was their favourite time of the week. They shared the little changes they’ve been noticing comfort steadiness release. Those moments landed so deeply.

As I drove home the sky held a beautiful sunset and one single shining star. I let myself feel into it every bit of gratitude. I thanked the universe for continuing to show me I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

And then the night wrapped up in something sweet. A FaceTime call with our nine year old niece for her birthday. She told us she loved the pjs we sent so much she wore them out for her birthday dinner and honestly that kind of joy is pure gold.

Maybe if you are still reading this, it’s your reminder to look again. Notice the moments that didn’t announce themselves. The kindness you received. The connection you felt. The beauty hiding in plain sight right there in the middle of ordinary time.

One of the very first things I fell in love with in Yin yoga was the little tummy gurgles.

The same soft, sweet sounds I often hear during Reiki healings, when the nervous system feels safe enough to soften, rest, and come back home. It is like the body surrenders, and the digestive system is gently waking up as stress begins to melt away.

I see it as the body saying thank you.
Like a little purr.
A quiet sign that something tender is happening underneath.

I’m so looking forward to weaving this beautiful healing practice into my retreats and workshops, and sharing it with the gorgeous souls I work with. ✨

What is this feeling you would normally avoid?

I’ve noticed that stillness is not always soft at first.

In meditation, in sound healing, in the quiet moments between everything, so many of us meet the parts of ourselves we have been moving around for a long time.

The body can feel it before the mind makes sense of it.
Restlessness.
Tightness.
A wave of sadness.
The urge to leave before we have even arrived.

And yet this, too, is presence.

Not the polished version. Not the peaceful version we are often taught to expect. Just the honest one.

The one where we stay with our breath, even when it feels uneven. The one where we let the sound move through us, even when something inside resists. The one where we learn that being with ourselves is not always blissful, but it is real.

What I have explained to so many lately: presence is not about feeling good all the time. It is about becoming willing to meet what is here.

And sometimes, that meeting is tender. Sometimes it is uncomfortable. Sometimes it is the quiet beginning of returning home. 💖

Today a client asked me, “How do you think people become confident?”

I paused before I responded, because I feel so many of us are carrying quiet doubt in ways no one else can see.

Trying to be enough.
Trying to get it right.
Trying not to be too much, or not enough, or somehow behind.

And maybe confidence is not the absence of that.

Maybe it is what grows when we are met kindly in the middle of it.

When we keep showing up, even a little unsure.
When we allow ourselves to be messy and still worthy of care.
When we begin to trust that we do not have to be fully ready to begin.

I think confidence can come from remembering who we are at the core.

From knowing our presence is unique.
That there is something true and unmistakable in us.
And that other people’s opinions do not get to define that truth.

Something slowly returning.
Something deepening over time.
Something that grows each time we come back to ourselves.

And maybe that is where confidence lives.
Not in perfection.
But in self-trust.
In self-recognition.
In the quiet knowing that we are allowed to be exactly who we are. 💖

Happy Friday gorgeous ones. Let your light shine ✨

A toddler falls, pauses, and gets back up.
No overthinking.
No self-judgment.
No long story about what the fall means.
Just a small body learning,
in real time,
that it can meet the ground
and rise again.
I love this as a reminder that self-trust can be so simple.
Not never falling.
Not getting it right every time.
Just meeting ourselves after the stumble
with enough gentleness to keep going.
There is something so beautiful about that kind of trust.
The kind that lives in the body.
The kind that says,
I can feel this.
And quietly come back to self. 💖

Wouldn’t it be beautiful if you could trust yourself in life as simply as you trust yourself to walk your first steps of each day.
Just a little something to ponder gorgeous ones. Big love to you all 🫶
