Over the previuos weekend, Mackay District Special School was sadly vandalised, with classrooms and learning resources destroyed. One of our medics, Faye, is a teacher there and has seen firsthand the impact this has had on the students and staff.

We know times are tough for many people, but if anyone has any toys, books, sensory items, puzzles, or classroom resources they no longer need and would like to donate, it would mean so much to the school and the kids ❤️

Sometimes a few small acts of kindness from the community can help rebuild something really important.

Great atmosphere at the NQ Games Opening Ceremony on 1st May 26! 🔥🎆

From the torch lighting, to the Holy Spirit High School drumming band, the parade of competitors, and an awesome fireworks display, it was an amazing way to kick off the games.

Sarina Mudtrials wrapped up with no major issues 🙌 😅

We had lots of eye washes over the weekend which gave our students plenty of practice.

Huge credit to the competitors and organisers for a smooth safe event. Great weekend all round! 🚑🏁

Today we had the privilege of providing first aid support at the ANZAC Day service in Mackay.

It was a moving morning, standing alongside the community to honour those who served, sacrificed, and continue to serve our country.

We were especially proud to lay a wreath on behalf of our team — a small gesture of respect for the courage, resilience, and mateship that ANZAC Day represents.

Lest we forget.
