💜 Supporting Choice & Community Participation

After an appointment, the participant chose to spend some time at Werribee South, with a quick stop for lunch along the way.

At the beach, the participant enjoyed walking around while listening to music and later relaxing on a bench, taking in the surroundings.

At Unity Care Support, we value supporting participants to make choices about how they spend their time and encouraging meaningful participation in the community.

It's about more than getting from one place to another—it’s about supporting choice, independence, confidence, and connection with the community. 💜

💜 WE'RE HIRING – DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS

Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of people living with disability?

Unity Care Support, a Registered NDIS Provider, is looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.

📍 Supporting participants across Western Melbourne, with additional coverage across the North-West and Outer West suburbs.

You'll be supporting a diverse NDIS community, including participants living with mental health conditions and neurodivergent people, including autistic participants.

Role Includes:

* Participant Support
* Domestic Cleaning Assistance
* Household Tasks & Daily Living Support
* Community Access & Social Participation Support

Mandatory Employment Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

✔️ 100 Points of Identification
✔️ Experience in Community, Disability, Aged Care, or Health Support
✔️ Relevant Qualification (preferred)
✔️ NDIS Worker Screening Check
✔️ NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
✔️ NDIS Worker Induction Certificate
✔️ Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
✔️ Infection Control & PPE Training Certificate
✔️ Manual Handling Training Certificate
✔️ Working with Children Check (where applicable)
✔️ Valid Right to Work in Australia
✔️ Current Driver's License and access to a reliable, insured motor vehicle

Unity Care Support Mandatory Training & Certifications

The following training must be completed as part of employment with Unity Care Support:

✔️ Hand Hygiene Training
✔️ Medication Management Training
✔️ Mealtime Management Training
✔️ Fully Vaccinated
