We Help Support Your Transition to Independence and Employment! Our Resume & Cover Letter service ensures a tailored approach to job applications.

At Paramount Connect, we’re licensed to a registered NDIS provider helping school leavers make a smooth transition from school to employment. We offer a range of practical, hands-on services to build confidence, independence, and job-ready skills. Our Travel Training & Financial Skills program teaches how to navigate public transport and manage money wisely. We support Independent Living & Social

Confidence, helping young people build essential life skills. Our Employment Capability Workshops provide the tools needed to succeed in the workplace, and The Retreat offers a fun, outdoor space to learn through gardening and other activities. We also help with Career and Pathway Exploration, guiding individuals towards their career goals. With Work Experience & On-the-Job Training, we connect school leavers with local employers for real-world experience. Plus, our Online Counselling Services offer extra support along the way. At Paramount Connect, we’re here to support every step of the journey towards independence and meaningful employment!

Another great day at the Rotary Tram Café in Diamond Creek!

Our participants enjoyed learning new hospitality skills, including preparing delicious toasties, making coffee, serving customers, restocking supplies and keeping the café clean and organised.

It was wonderful to see everyone working together, trying new tasks and building their confidence in a supportive workplace environment.

Recently, one of our participants had the opportunity to visit Most Wanted Garage, a specialist automotive wrapping garage.

We were given a behind-the-scenes look at the vehicle wrapping process, while also learning about the different career pathways in the industry and how someone can get started.

A big thank you to the team at Most Wanted Garage for being such welcoming hosts, sharing their knowledge and taking the time to support our participant’s career exploration.

Experiences like these are a great way for our participants to explore different industries, build confidence and discover where their interests could take them.

⭐ Building Interview Skills with the STAR Method in a group session.

Today we focused on interview preparation by introducing the STAR Method—a simple framework that helps participants answer behavioural interview questions with confidence.

The STAR Method encourages structured responses by covering:
⭐ Situation – Set the scene.
⭐ Task – Explain your responsibility.
⭐ Action – Describe what you did.
⭐ Result – Share the outcome and what you achieved.

By practising this approach, participants developed clearer, more confident answers while learning how to highlight their strengths and experiences in a way that employers value.

Every interview is a chance to build confidence, develop new skills, and move one step closer to meaningful employment. 💙

Great day at Hologram Zoo Ringwood today, experiencing the incredible new underwater exhibit before jumping into some hands-on work experience.

Today we learned the sanitation process for the hologram glasses, wiping them down, placing them into the steriliser, and preparing them in the charging station ready for the next guests.

Great day at the Rotary Tram Cafe in Diamond Creek with our Paramount Inclusion Services participants.

Today’s group session focused on teamwork, communication, and developing practical hospitality skills in a real café environment. Participants worked together serving customers, handling orders, supporting one another during busy periods, and building confidence in a fast-paced setting.

Experiences like these are a fantastic way to develop workplace readiness, customer service skills, and independence while being part of the local community. Proud of everyone’s effort and progress today 👏

We’ve been working closely with our NDIS participants on building practical, real-world skills, starting with resume writing.

Through these sessions, participants are learning how to confidently create their own resumes while developing essential digital skills using word processors.

It’s not just about putting together a document , it’s about building independence, boosting confidence, and preparing for real employment opportunities.

Step by step, they’re gaining the tools to present themselves professionally and take control of their job journey.
