Meet Our May Model: Cynthia Davie

In late 2022, Cynthia Davie's life changed after discovering a lump in her neck that led to a diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma. What followed was an incredibly difficult journey through surgery consultations, extensive hospital stays, chemo, radiation, and complications that tested her physically and emotionally.

But through it all, Cynthia found something powerful: clarity.
A withered orchid sitting by her window became a symbol of her journey — a reminder that healing takes time, care, and resilience. Today, Cynthia celebrates more than two years cancer-free and embraces life with renewed purpose, gratitude, and strength.

Her story is a reminder to slow down, care for yourself, and appreciate the beauty in everyday moments.

Meet Our March Model: Alan Kelly

As a retired paramedic, Alan Kelly spent years helping others through medical crises. But in 2021, a routine colonoscopy revealed something he never expected, stage 3 re**al cancer.
Despite years of experience around cancer patients, nothing prepares you for your own diagnosis. The reality of surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and life with a colostomy bag was overwhelming. There were moments of doubt and fear. But clarity came through the people who mattered most: his wife Dawn, his family, his friends, and especially his young grandson.
After more than a year of treatment and setbacks, Alan is now in remission.
Today, his clarity is simple: life is about time with family, the hobbies that bring joy, and appreciating the everyday moments we often take for granted.
Alan's story is a reminder that screening matters, resilience runs deep, and life, even after cancer, can be good again.
