I’m so excited to announce that Sweet Feet will be opening a foot care clinic inside Nexus Orthotics in Medicine Hat this September!

This will be a soft opening, giving us the opportunity to welcome clients, fine-tune the clinic experience, and see how much interest there is in offering regular in-clinic appointments.

✨ A New Chapter at Sweet Feet ✨

Hi everyone! My name is Mandy Bhar, and I’m thrilled to announce that I have officially taken over Sweet Feet.

I’ve been a Licensed Practical Nurse since 2014 and have spent the past 9 years specializing in advanced and diabetic foot care. With a background in wound care, home care, and long-term care, I’m passionate about helping clients stay active, comfortable, and independent through compassionate, high-quality foot care—it truly is the part of healthcare I love most.

I’m a proud member of the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses and the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta, and I’m currently completing my Bachelor of Health Science degree.

A heartfelt thank you to Melinda, Sweet Feet’s previous owner, for building such a trusted, compassionate practice. It’s an honour to carry on the legacy you’ve created, and I’m so grateful for your guidance throughout this transition.

I’m now accepting new clients and can’t wait to support you on your foot-care journey. Your feet are in good hands! 🦶💛

I want to take a moment to thank everyone for the kind messages, prayers, and well-wishes while I was recovering from my broken ankle. Your support truly meant so much to me.

God works in mysterious ways, and if it weren’t for that injury, I may never have crossed paths with Mandy.

Many of you have already met her while she was helping during my recovery and probably saw right away how capable, compassionate, and dedicated she is. For those who haven’t had the chance yet, I would love to introduce you to her.

Mandy Bhar has been dedicated to the healthcare field since 2014. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and an Advanced Foot Care Nurse Provider, with experience in home care and long-term care. She developed strong wound care knowledge through these roles while always prioritising compassionate, patient-centred care.

She is a member of the Canadian Association of Foot Care Nurses (CAFCN) and the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA), and is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science.

Since 2017, she has specialized in advanced foot care and diabetic foot care, areas that play an important role in overall health and mobility.

I am happy to share that Mandy will be continuing with Sweet Feet, and we are committed to ensuring you continue to receive the excellent foot care you have come to know and trust.

I wanted to take a moment to update you regarding appointments over the coming weeks.

As I continue to recover from an ankle injury, I am pleased to share that Mandy Bhar, an L.P.N, and Footcare Nurse with over 8 years of experience, will be working alongside me to help ensure uninterrupted, high-quality care for Sweet Feet clients.

Mandy and I share the same commitment to professionalism, gentle care, and the standards Sweet Feet has upheld for over 11 years. She will be assisting with appointments while I focus on healing, and I remain involved to ensure a smooth and consistent experience for everyone.
