Cancer Blood Test

Cancer Blood Test Pioneering Canada’s first liquid biopsy for early cancer detection. Backed by medical expertise, designed for peace of mind.

Our test identifies 59 cancers through DNA fragments in blood, followed by free MRI and CT imaging to confirm results.

"Liquid biopsy" sounds like science fiction, but it is simply modern slang for a multi-cancer blood test.
In clinical settings, a liquid biopsy means analyzing a standard blood sample for early signs of cancer. In the US, it is often used interchangeably with Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) testing. Instead of invasive procedures, we scan the bloodstream for tumor DNA fragments to catch early signals.

Cancer screening is changing faster than most people realize. Traditional screening is making way for MCEDs, or multi-cancer early detection tests.

These futuristic blood tests offer an easy liquid biopsy to analyze your blood for cancer DNA. Stay tuned, because there is lots more to come in this promising domain.

Ever wonder how we can catch cancer earlier?

Cancer research has introduced Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) tests. These are innovative screening blood tests designed to detect tiny fragments of DNA released from possible cancers growing in the body. It is a powerful new tool in modern medicine.

Wildfire smoke with an AQI of 150 is the equivalent of smoking several ci******es. Not exactly the kind of “fresh air” we want to be breathing in. Stay safe out there and protect your lungs!

Smoking vs Wildfire smoke, what’s worse? Experiencing a severe, choking wildfire smoke event can increase your risk of cancer almost the same as smoking a half a pack of ci******es a day.

08/10/2026

Even though it’s “natural,” wildfire smoke can increase the risk of cancer. It’s packed with things like fine particulate matter, heavy metals, VOCs, and PAHs that you definitely don’t want to be breathing in.

08/08/2026

Yes, wildfire smoke actually increases your risk for cancers like lung, colon, bladder, leukemia, and lymphoma. It happens because fine particulate matter completely bypasses your immune system and damages your cells. Stay safe out there.

Alberta just introduced an out-of-pocket private pay program for preventative diagnostic tests and cancer screening.

I’m honestly mixed about this. On one hand, it gives you guys more power and control over proactive testing for your health. But on the flip side, without the guidance of a physician, you might end up paying for totally unnecessary tests. And the ugly truth? Due to the massive lack of capacity at diagnostic imaging centers right now, this is likely going to increase wait times across the board for everyone.

Heads Up Battle 2:
Expensive tests are not always better.
When it comes to colon cancer screening, the simple, cheap FIT test is actually the clear winner over the complex CEA tumor marker.2
Here’s why:
FIT test: An at-home test with 93% accuracy for detecting blood from polyps or cancer.
CEA test: Performs poorly for screening (as low as 3% sensitivity!) and is best used only for monitoring patients already diagnosed.
If you’re between 50 and 75, the FIT test is your go-to every 1-2 years. Stay proactive!

“My chest X-ray came back clear, so I’m fine.”
Unfortunately, that’s a dangerous assumption. While X-rays are quick and inexpensive, they have a notoriously poor sensitivity for early cancer detection. They often miss exactly what we need to find most.
In this head-to-head battle, the Low-Dose CT Scan is the undisputed winner. It is six times more effective at detecting lung cancer than a standard X-ray, finding tiny anomalies long before they cause symptoms.
Don’t gamble on “good enough” when it comes to your health. Get precision answers from the start.
