Who is Brow Ink anyway? 🤔 Her story

Jacqueline Rae (Burgess) Correia was raised in Northern BC (Kitimat) in a family of wolves...hehe kidding, but she likes wolves. Oldest in a family of 5 children, she escaped often into nature, curiously observing and tramping about the dense rainforest. She would return and spend endless hours drawing her visual experiences. Surrounded by a family of artists and musicians, she was encouraged to pursue art at an early age. Jacqueline pursued further education in visual communications by attending David Thompson University in Nelson BC to eventually work in commercial arts as a Graphic Artist. This was a disciplined field where she continued to apply her trained eye to overall design, details and symmetry in preparing art for advertising and print. She married her young love John. Together Jacqueline & John raised 3 AWESOME children & shared various business & career pursuits. Her daughter Joelle of Prism Permanent Cosmetics invited her to join her in training in Permanent Makeup. Jacqueline and her talented daughter originally certified together at Biotouch Canada in Vancouver BC under leading instructor Lisa Zhang. Jacqueline was so amazed at the experience of waking up with makeup and feeling SUPER PRETTY and NATURAL! 😍 Jacqueline's love of art and helping people feel great about themselves came together. She can be found at Brow Love Permanent Artistry in the heart of Coldstream where she specializes in cosmetically tattooed Powder Brows, Eyeliner & Lips

Hey neighbours!

If you're looking for something to do this Saturday, stop by Canine Heroes Kennel at 10046 Grey Rd. between 11 am - 1 pm and help us raise some money for Ned's Wish!

Ned's Wish helps cover medical expenses for retired Canadian police & military dogs, a cause that is pretty close to our hearts.

The 5km run/walk starts at 11 am, followed by a police dog demonstration around noon. You don't have to run... come by, watch the dogs, cheer everyone on and enjoy!

Bring the family and come say hi. We'd love to see lots of our local community out supporting these amazing dogs! And please share, the more the merrier!!

Some photos tell a story all on their own. ❤️

My wedding day... and John's 1972 Dodge Demon 340. That car was the beginning of countless adventures, starting with a road trip from Kitimat to Vancouver Island, then through the Okanagan—where we returned to build our life together and raise our family.

This year marks 41 years of marriage. It hasn't been perfect, but through every challenge and every blessing, we've continued to grow together.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12—written in our family Bible by our pastor 41 years ago—remains profoundly true: 'Two are better than one...and a cord of three strands is not easily broken'

With God woven in as our center strand, He is our divine anchor holding our union together through His grace and power.

Here's to the memories we've made and the adventures still to come.
