💙 Dementia is More Than Memory 💙
At Helping Hands, we believe that understanding dementia begins with compassion. Dementia can affect memory, communication, thinking, and daily activities, but it does not take away a person’s value, personality, or need for connection.
With patience, kindness, and support, people living with dementia can continue to experience meaningful moments, relationships, and joy.
As our community continues to learn and grow together, we encourage everyone to take time to understand dementia and the impact it has on individuals and families. A little knowledge, a listening ear, and a caring heart can make a world of difference.
Together, we can help reduce stigma, build understanding, and create a more inclusive community for those living with dementia and their loved ones. 💙
