Virtual Heart Connection The purpose of this not for profit organization is to connect children and their familes with CHD via virtual & inperson events.

Donations can be made using the link or etransfer to [email protected] - This group is organized by the Pediatric Cardiology Department at the Stollery Children's Hospital in association with the WCCHN to connect children with a Fontan circulation, and sponsored by the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation
- With the cancellation of organized heart camps due to the pandemic, we have held successful annual virtual Fontan day camps which occur in November
- We hold annual CHD family picnics in Edmonton during the Summer
- Our first Fontan Family camp occurred in August 2023 sponsored by the WCCHN BoostUp competition and will become an annual event, stay tuned for more details

🎃 IT’S BACKKKKK! 👻

Our CHS Halloween Party is officially BACK — and better than ever! This year, we’re teaming up with Virtual Heart Connection to make it an extra-special night for our heart community!

Get ready to dress up in your spookiest, funniest, or most creative costume for your chance to win a prize in our costume contest! 🕸️

We’ll have a night packed with fun, including:
🎩 A magician
🎨 Halloween crafts
🎲 Games and activities
💃 A dance party
🍕 Pizza and snacks
🍬 And, of course… LOTS of candy!

Join us on November 28, 2026 for a fun and engaging Virtual Camp, hosted by the Canadian Congenital Heart Alliance (CCHA) and Virtual Heart Connection!
🗓️ Date: November 28, 2026
🕘 Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time
👧🧑 Ages: 6–16
💻 Location: Online — open to children and teens across Canada
This camp is an opportunity for kids and teens living with congenital heart disease to connect with others who understand their experiences, make new friends, have fun, and feel less alone in their journey.
👨‍👩‍👧 For parents: While the kids are enjoying camp, we'll also be hosting a CCHA Connect session for parents focused on Transition.
