Tomorrow marks World Mental Health Day, an opportunity to meaningfully engage with people with lived experience of mental health conditions and recognize their knowledge as a vital form of expertise.

Lived experience is what someone has experienced themselves, especially when it gives the individual knowledge or understanding that people who have only heard or learnt about such experiences do not have.

On this World Mental Health Day, let us move from listening to action– and build mental health systems with people with lived experience, not merely for them.

â›˝ Good news for Albertans!

As of today, Alberta's provincial fuel tax has been suspended until Dec. 31, providing up to 13¢/L in savings on gasoline and diesel at the pump.

Whether you're commuting to work, running a business, or heading out on a road trip, every little bit helps.

OpenCircle Contractors Association remains committed to supporting the people in our industry, including our Indigenous peers, colleagues and neighbours.

Today is an important day to acknowledge and honour the First Nations, Inuit and Metis people who have been and continue to be affected by the legacy of residential schools: for those who have survived, and those who never made it home. Let us take the time to learn and reflect on the history and impact of residential schools as we work toward reconciliation.
