Everyone Plays Fernie is looking for helpers.

As this project starts to grow, I’m looking for people who want to be part of creating more accessible, welcoming movement opportunities for kids in the Elk Valley.

Ways to help:
• Kid volunteers (ages 11+) to come play with younger kids during events
• People interested in brainstorming ideas
• Future board members/community supporters
• Anyone who simply wants to help make movement more inclusive and fun

For older kids, volunteer hours can count toward high school requirements.

For younger helpers… Happy Cow coupons are involved.

Everyone Plays Fernie

Movement should belong to everyone.
That’s the idea behind Everyone Plays — a new local non-profit focused on creating accessible, affordable, and non-competitive movement opportunities for kids in the Elk Valley.

Not every child wants high-pressure sports.
Not every family can afford expensive programming.
And not every kid connects with movement in the same way.

Everyone Plays is about bringing back movement for the joy of it: Play. Connection. Confidence. Community. Movement for life.

No workout. No Equipment! �Just movement that supports your body.

For 1–2 Minutes!

Get down on the floor, then get back up again
While you’re down there: spread out on the floor angel/starfish/beached whale (choose your vibe)
On your stomach: grab your foot/feet (keep ribs in)
Flip to your back: “happy baby” feet grab�
This asks for hip range of motion and real-world strength we don’t always get in day-to-day postures.

Save it for a movement break.
