HTMA | Functional Testing

Helping women in perimenopause—and women trying to conceive—uncover what labs miss so their hormones, energy, and body finally respond.

You can’t macro your way out of everything.

And you definitely can’t out-train what you haven’t uncovered yet.

If you’re eating enough protein, strength training, watching your calories and STILL not seeing the changes you expect… I’m looking deeper.

Thyroid markers. Inflammation. Blood sugar. Mineral depletion. Stress physiology. Digestion. Estrogen metabolism.

Not because every woman needs 47 tests.

But because sometimes the thing keeping you stuck isn’t another 200-calorie deficit or another day of cardio.

It’s the piece nobody has investigated yet.

This is exactly why I use functional testing with my perimenopause clients.

We stop guessing, get actual data, and build a plan around what YOUR body needs to function better as you age.

If you’re doing “everything right” and your body still isn’t responding, DM me TESTING and let’s figure out what you’re missing.

If eating less and exercising more was the whole answer, you probably would’ve figured this out by now.

You’ve cut the calories.
Added the cardio.
Tracked the macros.
Stopped eating after 7.
Tried fasting.
Started lifting.

And somehow your body feels LESS responsive than it did 10 years ago.

Calories still matter. But in perimenopause, I’m also asking:

How are you sleeping?
Are you actually eating enough protein?
Is your blood sugar stable?
How’s your thyroid functioning?
Are you chronically stressed and running on caffeine?
Are you digesting and absorbing what you’re eating?
Are there mineral patterns suggesting your body is depleted or under stress?

Because I’m not interested in handing a woman another 1,400-calorie meal plan and telling her to work harder.

I want to know why her body isn’t responding the way it used to.

That’s where functional testing can change the conversation.

Instead of guessing at another diet or supplement, we can actually look at the patterns underneath the symptoms and build from there.

If you’re in perimenopause and feel like you’re doing everything “right” with very little to show for it, DM me FOUNDATION.

We’ll look deeper. 💛

Last year, we started this chapter of our lives with fireworks.

This weekend, we sold our trailer… and somehow, on our very last weekend here, we ended it with fireworks too.

Full circle.

And I can’t help but think about everything that happened between those two nights.

The places we went. The memories we made. The things that went exactly as planned… and the things that absolutely did not. 😂

There were incredible highs, stressful lows, moments where we questioned what the hell we were doing, and so many moments where I looked around and thought, this is exactly why we chose this.

This last year taught me that life isn’t supposed to be perfectly planned or perfectly comfortable.

Sometimes you take the chance.
You change the plan.
You figure it out as you go.
You soak up the season you’re in, knowing it won’t last forever.

And most importantly, you actually LIVE your life instead of always waiting for the perfect time to start living it.

This chapter is officially closing, and there’s something pretty special about the fact that it ended exactly how it began.

We know what’s next for us… but I’m keeping that part to myself just a little longer. 🤍

For now, I’m just really freaking grateful for this chapter, every beautiful, messy, stressful, unforgettable part of it.

Here’s to living the life while you’re in it.

And to whatever comes next. 🥂

Heavy periods + clots + sore breasts + ragey PMS + constipation + bloating?

I’m not looking at those as 6 separate problems.

Estrogen has to be metabolized by the liver, moved into the gut and ultimately eliminated through stool. When bowel transit is slow, some estrogen metabolites can be deconjugated and reabsorbed instead of leaving the body.

Does that automatically mean “estrogen dominance”? No.

But when I see that cluster of hormone + digestive symptoms together, I want to know WHY.

What’s happening with progesterone?
How are you metabolizing estrogen?
Are you eliminating properly?
What’s happening in the gut?
What does your mineral status look like?

This is exactly what we investigate inside The Rebuild Method.

If you’re done buying another hormone supplement hoping it fixes the problem and you’re ready to actually understand what YOUR body is doing, DM me REBUILD.

I have limited September availability for women ready to get started.

You can eat well, take supplements and still feel like your body is running on empty.

Because these symptoms don’t automatically tell me what you’re deficient in.

They tell me where I need to start asking better questions.

What’s happening with your minerals?
Your digestion and absorption?
Blood sugar?
Stress response?
Thyroid?
Hormones?

The pattern matters more than any one symptom.

This is exactly why I created The Rebuild Method.

We use functional testing, including HTMA + GI-MAP, to stop guessing at what your body needs and actually investigate the foundations underneath how you feel.

If you’re tired of spending money trying one more thing and hoping it works, this is for you.

DM me REBUILD for details. 🤎

Hair loss in your 40s might show up during hormonal change.

But “it’s your hormones” isn’t enough of an answer for me.

Hair is metabolically expensive tissue. When resources are limited or the body is dealing with other demands, growing gorgeous hair isn’t exactly top priority.

So I want to know what changed before the shedding started.

Thyroid function.
Iron + ferritin in context.
Protein intake.
Zinc + copper balance.
Blood sugar.
Stress load.
Digestion + nutrient absorption.

Because taking biotin doesn’t answer any of those questions.

And neither does automatically assuming estrogen is the problem because you’re 42.

Hair loss is a symptom. I want to know what changed in the body before the hair started falling out.

This is exactly how we think inside The Rebuild Method, looking at the patterns underneath your symptoms and using functional testing to stop guessing.

If you’re ready to understand what YOUR body has been asking for, DM me REBUILD. 🤎

You p**p every day.

So your digestion is fine… right? 👀

Not necessarily.

When I assess gut health, I’m looking at a LOT more than whether you’re constipated.

-I’m looking at how well you’re breaking food down.
-How quickly it’s moving through you.
-What happens after you eat.
-What your stool actually looks like.
-Whether there are signs you’re not absorbing nutrients well.

Because digestion is a chain.

If food isn’t being properly broken down at the beginning, that can change what’s reaching the intestinal tract.

If motility is sluggish, that changes the environment inside the gut.

If you’re not eliminating efficiently, that matters for hormone clearance too.

And if you’re not absorbing nutrients properly, simply taking more supplements doesn’t necessarily solve the problem.

This is why I get women who tell me:

“My digestion is actually pretty good.”

…and five minutes later they’re telling me they only p**p every second day, bloat every night, can’t tolerate certain foods and regularly see undigested food in their stool.

Those are clues.

And when you’re also dealing with fatigue, stubborn body changes, crappy periods, mood changes or feeling completely different in perimenopause?

I’m interested in how those systems connect.

Go through the slides and tell me:

Which section did you score highest on — STOMACH ACID, MOTILITY, STOOL or ABSORPTION?

And if you’re ready to stop guessing, DM me GUT and we can talk about what testing can actually show us.
