New addition alert 🚨

In April we spent a week and built a new gazebo! Today we added lights and a brand new patio sectional and table.

It has been a long time coming! Nothing beats a screened in outdoor area.

We recently got a new couch as well to sink into and enjoy the view 🛋️🏞️

Looks like everyone enjoys staring at the leaves 🍁

We cannot say it enough. The view of the river from the living room is beyond magical.

This is one of our favourite times of year when the leaves change and the sun sets on the leaves. It’s so calming and you can feel yourself relax.

We still have a weekend left in October! Come catch the tail end of the season 🍂

Welcome to The Riverside Retreat!! A 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath cottage on the Gananoque River that sleeps up to 10 people!

The wall to wall windows in the great room look out onto the river. The view is incredible!

We have some time left in October to come see the leaves. And our winter dates are opening up!

“We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage! It was immaculately clean, wonderfully climate controlled, and the main bathroom was spa worthy. We were welcomed by a full tray of local pastries and even a bottle of wine! The location was just magical - golden afternoon light on the river, swans and herons, and hundreds of fireflies at night.”

Monday mornings got me like…

Anyone else feel like time changes are the worst? Don’t get us wrong, we love having more sunlight. But the loss of an hour is hitting us hard today.

Responsibilities shouldn’t count the day after the time change. We should be able to laze around like a puppy.

Spontaneous town visits that result in hot chocolate and baked goods are my favourite.

Checked out a new spot today and it didn’t disappoint! We ordered hot chocolate and scones and headed down to the St. Lawrence. The hot chocolates didn’t make it that far…

is definitely a must visit for all your ice cream/baked goods/sugary needs!
