Public Works Yard Extension for Leaf and Yard Waste

The Public Works Yard at 665 Charles Street North will re-open temporarily for leaf and yard waste disposal until October 31, 2026.

On September 1st correspondence was received from The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation & Parks (MECP) advising the Town that due to concerns raised around the upcoming seasonal demand for leaf and yard waste management, and as an expression of their commitment to working with the Town, a temporary approval has been granted for the acceptance of leaf and yard waste only at 665 Charles St. N, until October 31, 2026.

The Yard is accessed off James A. Brennan Rd and will be open 8am to 12noon Wednesdays and Saturdays for leaf and yard waste only.
