This is who I was…
This is who I am becoming.

A vulnerable look at my own journey through matrescence and postpartum depression 🤍
Swipe to see how much has changed — and how much is still the same.

From a sensitive little girl, to an OT student, to a new mom drowning in postpartum depression, to where I am now — still healing, still growing, and deeply passionate about supporting other moms through this wild transformation.

Matrescence doesn’t end when your baby becomes a toddler. It’s a lifelong identity shift. And you don’t have to go through it alone.

If you’re in the middle of your own dark, beautiful, messy season — whether it’s postpartum depression, feeling lost, or just trying to find yourself again — I see you.

For when your child comes home from school completely overwhelmed…

We’ve all seen it — the meltdown, the shutdown, the emotional flooding after a long day. The noise, the lights, the demands in areas that may not be their strength can be a lot for many kiddos.

Some refer to it as the after school restraint collapse. Your child has held it together ALL day in a setting that is overwhelming and often hard for them. So when they come home, where they feel most safe, they let down their guard and the day’s residue comes out with a vengeance!

Swipe through for 5 practical tools to help them regulate and reset faster, without telling them to ‘just breathe’ or ‘calm down!’

These small moments of support can make a big difference in how the rest of the evening goes — for both of you.

Each child is so different and so some of these tools might be helpful and others may not. If you’re navigating this with your child and would like more personalized support, I’d love to help.

You’re not behind, mama.

You’re not failing.
You’re not doing it wrong.

You are in the middle of one of the biggest, most profound transformations a person can experience — and that takes time.

Some days you’ll feel strong and grounded.
Other days you’ll feel completely lost.
Both are normal.

There is no universal timeline for healing, finding yourself again, or feeling like “you’ve got this.” Your pace is the right pace.

If you’ve been feeling behind lately, this is your gentle reminder:
You’re exactly where you need to be right now.

And you don’t have to do any of this alone 💛

You're prepping everything for baby's arrival but are you prepping your support?

Nursery ✅ Birth plan ✅ Hospital bag ✅

But what about support for YOU once baby arrives?

The fourth trimester can feel incredibly heavy when you’re healing, sleep-deprived, and navigating big identity shifts. Having support already arranged gives you so much more peace of mind going into birth and makes the transition so much gentler.

You don’t have to wait until you’re struggling. You can meet with Cindy while you’re still expecting, or simply have sessions ready to go for postpartum.

Either way, knowing your support is already in place brings so much relief — and takes a huge weight off your shoulders. 🤍

You can even consider adding a gift certificate for perinatal support sessions to your baby registry. It’s truly one of the most valuable gifts you can give yourself (or ask others to give you)!

Can we talk about the thing nobody says out loud?

The mom guilt that hits hardest at 3am — when you're already exhausted and doing everything right — isn't a sign that you're a bad mom.

It's a sign that you care deeply, in a culture that has wildly unrealistic expectations of mothers.
The guilt, the rage, the grief for your old self — these aren't character flaws. They're completely normal responses to something enormous. And they deserve more than being pushed down and powered through.

If any of this is sitting in your chest right now — you're in the right place. Find my link to connect in my bio.

Capacity doesn’t equal capability.

Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you have the capacity for it right now.

You might be a capable woman in many ways — but right now your nervous system is in survival mode.

Your energy is going toward healing, feeding, bonding, and simply surviving the fourth trimester.

That doesn’t make you lazy.
It doesn’t mean you are failing.
It doesn’t mean you aren’t cut for this.

You are not meant to operate at full capacity while your body and identity are going through one of the biggest transformations of your life.

So if you’re feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or behind… please give yourself permission to do less.

Your worth is not measured by how much you can handle. You’re allowed to protect your limited capacity.

This is your reminder: Doing less right now doesn’t mean you’re less capable. It means you’re listening to what your body and nervous system actually need. 🤍

If you’re struggling with this balance, you’re not alone. DM me or tap the link in bio — I’d love to support you.

You love your baby —
but sometimes, you miss yourself.

You crave silence, a breath, a moment to hear your own thoughts again.

The days blur together… feeding, soothing, cleaning, wondering if you’re doing enough.

You’re not broken — you’re becoming.
Motherhood is a profound transformation, and you deserve to be supported through it.
