As Nursing Week begins, we pause to honour the incredible nurses who have dedicated their lives to caring for others with compassion, strength, and grace.

May 12th marks the birthday of Florence Nightingale — “The Lady with the Lamp” — whose courage and vision forever transformed healthcare and laid the foundation for modern nursing.

This year’s theme, “The Power of Nurses to Transform Health,” is reflected every day in the nurses and healthcare teams who support our residents, families, and communities with kindness and unwavering dedication.

At Autumn Lee, we are deeply grateful for every nurse who brings comfort during difficult moments, advocates for those in their care, and makes a difference through even the smallest acts of compassion. Your work changes lives in ways words can never fully express.
