Different cultures, different medicines — the same ancient desire to heal.
While visiting a Kayan village in Northern Thailand, a woman applied a traditional cream to my skin.
It reminded me that long before modern medicine, people everywhere learned to observe nature — plants, minerals, the body — and developed their own ways of caring for one another.
Homeopathy comes from a very different tradition and follows its own principles, but this moment reminded me of something I deeply value in my work: healing begins with observation, curiosity, and attention to the individual.
We may not speak the same language or practice the same medicine, yet the gesture of caring for another human being is universal.
