We just wanted to share a little update on what’s been happening at our Trading Post recently regarding the unlawful “inspections” being brought on by the province and carried out by the RCMP. They are harassing our business owners who are making a living and operating under their treaty and inherent rights. The RCMP are causing havoc and chaos within our communities of Mi’kma’ki and as long as it continues, then WE WILL CONTINUE to fight. We are defending our treaties and we stand at our strongest for what we believe in because it is what we are here to do! Trust us, our ancestors are beaming with pride ❤️💛🖤🤍

We are taking precautionary measures at the shop for everyone’s safety, so please be patient with us, we all want what is safe for everyone. The RCMP are now known to enter businesses UNDERCOVER 🥸 and they are also known to attempt sting operations involving minors, so we thank you for understanding and respecting our measures in place.

We truly appreciate the continued support and business that Pictou County and afar have shown 🙏 We welcome you to Spark It Up Trading Post where we take pride in offering the safest products and friendly customer service. We have a plan in place and our gentlemen here will do our very best to keep us as safe as possible.
