"I got there at 4....it was closed...then a guy drove over and said I will open up for you..not just any guy I found out it was Stuart the CEO.....that is what I call service...thank you" - Sue B.

From a small office to a growing force in Ottawa mobility.

By 1980, Conval-Aid had outgrown its original location and moved to a new space on Carling and Bronson. The visibility of the new address and the growth of the home health industry helped the business take off.

In 1985, Don and Judi Ed became sole owners.
Then the innovation continued. In 1994, Don co-founded HealthCraft Products Inc., a company that manufactures health care products, many of which are still available at Conval-Aid today.

Around the same time, Conval-Aid expanded its services to include hand controls and patient lifts through a partnership with Don Johnston.

What started as a small wheelchair business was becoming something much bigger: a full-service mobility and home care provider built on relationships and trust.

50 years later, that foundation remains the same.
