*Wellness Day in the Okanagan!*

This event brings together yoga, breath work, sound healing, live music, ecstatic dance and more for an uplifting day on Saturday July 4 in Kelowna, BC!

It is also a fundraiser for our dear MG team member Laurita Roberts who’s just been diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. She is one of the world’s best humans and we are here to support her through her journey 💛

I will be there as a vendor, and look forward to sharing space with you!

Day 2 of the Comprehensive Intensive focused on building confidence, clinical reasoning, and a deeper understanding of the people we serve. 💕

Participants explored topics including body image, gender-affirming care, assessment, consultation skills, treatment planning, and practical approaches to supporting people after breast and chest surgery.

But some of the most meaningful moments came from the reflections shared throughout the day.

The moments when therapists realized they didn't need to be afraid of working with complex cases.
The moments when new connections were made.
The moments when uncertainty started to give way to confidence.

One participant shared:
"I am mind blown."

Another reflected on how energizing it felt to learn alongside therapists who care deeply about providing thoughtful, evidence-informed care.

This work is about more than techniques.

It's about developing the knowledge, clinical reasoning, and confidence to support people through some of the most significant experiences of their lives.

As the training continues, it's inspiring to watch participants grow not only their skills, but their belief in what's possible for the clients they serve. 💕
