11am on a Sunday.

Some people were meal prepping.
Some people were doing laundry.
Some people were still deciding if they were getting out of their pajamas.

And this group?

They were drinking beer and doing yoga on the grass.

Not before yoga.
Not after yoga.

During yoga.

There is something incredibly entertaining about holding Warrior II with a pint in your hand and realizing wellness doesn’t always have to look so serious.

Today’s Yoga on Tap at Prince Eddy’s was full of sunshine, fresh air, movement, laughter, and a few very creative balancing strategies.

A reminder that sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself isn’t another item on your to do list.

Sometimes it’s saying yes to something that makes absolutely no sense on paper but leaves you feeling lighter when it’s over.

If you’ve been curious about Yoga on Tap, send me a DM.

I promise you don’t need to be good at yoga.

Being willing to laugh at yourself is much more important.

Today’s lunch was brought to us by a life-changing plate of jerk tofu and rice from at

We came for a beer, stayed for the tofu, and are now seriously questioning all our previous lunch decisions.

The good news? We’ll be back tomorrow for Yoga on Tap. Because apparently the best way to balance out Caribbean comfort food and craft beer is with downward dog.

If you see us wobbling in tree pose, just know we’re still thinking about the jerk tofu. (Want to join for Yoga on Tap? Visit serendipityyoga.ca)

Sometimes people ask what the “Wellness” means in Serendipity Yoga & Wellness.

The answer is that wellness looks different for everyone.

For some, it’s slowing down during meditation. For others, it’s support through Reiki with Jeff, reflexology with , or a private one on one session tailored to exactly what they need.

It can look like movement and connection during a corporate event, or simply creating space to breathe, rest, and reset.

This post shares just some of the ways wellness exists within our space, on and off the yoga mat.

We’re so grateful to offer practices and experiences that support the mind, body, and nervous system in different ways.

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of a cherished member of our yoga community.

Jody brought kindness, presence, and a beautiful spirit to our practice space. Her warmth touched many lives, and her presence will be deeply missed both on and off the mat.

As a community, we hold her family, friends, and loved ones in our thoughts during this difficult time. May we honour Jody by carrying forward the compassion, mindfulness, and connection she shared with all of us.

Rest peacefully.

What happens when you mix yoga, delicious beer, great people, and good vibes?

You get the very first group of participants at Yoga on Tap at Prince Eddy’s Brewing Co.
Movement, laughter, community, and a well-earned pint: the perfect combo. Thanks to everyone who came out to stretch, sip, and make this inaugural session such a blast.

We’ll be back next Sunday at 11am, and every Sunday through the summer.

Join us for a one-hour practice, then stay to sip, connect, and enjoy the vibes.
