Family Yoga is for the families who want to move, laugh, play and actually have fun together.

This is not a “sit quietly on your mat” kind of class. Expect partner poses, games, challenges, movement, connection, a little bit of calm and a whole lot of interaction.

No yoga experience needed. Kids do not need to be perfectly still, perfectly focused or perfectly anything.

One registration includes 1 adult + up to 3 kids.
Family Yoga is also included in all RVN studio memberships, including our 2 week trial pass.

And if you’ve been curious about Resilient Kids this fall, this is such a fun, low pressure way for your child to meet Dawn, get comfortable in the studio and experience a little bit of the RVN magic before joining a class.

And... that's a wrap on our wildest camp season to date! 10 full camp weeks. Wow.

This might genuinely have been the most amazing summer we have ever had.

And there is no way I could have done it without this incredible team of staff and volunteers.

One of the things I am proudest of about our camps is our ratio, sometimes as low as 1:2. It means we can actually be child led. We can break into tiny groups, follow an idea, slow down when someone needs us and meet kids where they are.

Most importantly, the lesderd at our camps WANT to be here. They want to play, listen, laugh, get curious and really know your kids.

This summer we watched kids conquer the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge, navigate all the way to Vancouver, order their own food, solve problems, lead, speak up, include others and recover after conflict.

Every morning we set an intention. Today, on our final day, we set intentions for back to school. The most common one?
“Make new friends.”

And that is why I believe so deeply in this program.

Kids do not magically know how to join a game, handle rejection, compromise, manage losing, repair a friendship, lead without controlling or notice someone being left out. Those are skills, and kids learn them by having opportunities to practice them.

What looks like a game of cards is turn taking, reading social cues, negotiating rules and managing disappointment.

What looks like Capture the Flag is teamwork, leadership, strategy and frustration tolerance.

What looks like buying a $3 treat is autonomy, decision making and confidence talking to unfamiliar adults.

What looks like taking transit is planning, problem solving and real world confidence.

What looks like making friendship bracelets is often where the biggest conversations happen.

And what looks like a bunch of kids and adults playing, exploring and laughing all summer is connection.

Connection is what we are all about at RVN.

Fall Resilient Kids + Teens are open now.
Next PD Day Camp: Sept 25.

We also offer Yoga + Resilience in schools, birthday parties and Family Yoga every Sunday at 11 am for all ages who just want to pause and take a break to play.

Baby & Me Yoga is one of those classes that is just as much about getting out of the house and being around other adults as it is about yoga.

Bring your baby. Feed them, change them, cuddle them, let them nap, let them fuss. Nobody cares. The class is relaxed, friendly and made for real life with a baby.

You’ll get a chance to move, stretch, breathe and reconnect with your body while your little one comes along for the ride.

Fridays at 10 am with Surya Light
Mondays at 1 pm with Wobbling Yogi | Prenatal & Postpartum Yoga + Fitness and Afa Wright

Included in all RVN memberships.

The kids will probably tell you the best part of Adventure Camp is where we go.

The beach. The forest. The suspension bridge. The park. The ice cream stop.

But we know the best part is actually what happens once we get there.

Because wherever we go, we somehow end up doing a lot of the same things: friendship bracelets, nature crafts, card games, Capture the Flag, Mayhem, Kick the Can, exploring, laughing and just hanging out together.

And underneath all of it is connection.

Our camps have wildly low ratios, thanks to an incredible team of staff, therapists and volunteers who don’t just supervise kids. They actually play with them. They get curious. They learn who they are. They notice who needs a little encouragement, who is finding their people, who needs help joining in, and who just wants someone to listen to whatever incredibly important thing they have to say.

That’s the part of Resilient Kids that’s hard to explain until you see it.

Yes, we go on some pretty amazing adventures. But the destination has never really been the point.

We’re creating spaces where kids feel known, included, capable and important. Where adults have enough time to actually connect with them. Where friendships grow through play. Where kids get to be silly, brave, creative, curious and completely themselves.

There are lots of great camps out there.
But we really don’t think there’s anything quite like this one.

The adventures are what kids talk about.
The connection is why they keep coming back.

Camp Week 9 is officially a wrap.

We finished Everyday Confidence week with lunch at grounds & greens cafe in Fort Langley, where the kids got to practice the kind of everyday skills that actually build confidence: reading a menu, making a decision, asking questions, speaking clearly, ordering for themselves and realizing they can handle things that might once have felt intimidating.

Confidence is built through experiences like this. Small moments of independence, trying something new, using your voice and discovering, “I can do this.”

A huge thank you to grounds & greens cafe for being so patient, welcoming and supportive with our group. It was such a great way to end a week focused on building confidence through real-life experiences.

This week also marked a big milestone for our camp team: our summer leaders have officially completed their eight-week internships.

Over those eight weeks, they have grown so much in confidence, leadership, independence, problem-solving and their ability to connect with kids. They’ve learned how to lead groups, adapt when plans change, support big feelings and build genuine connections with kids.

We were also so happy to welcome Diana this summer as our new clinical camp leader, bringing another layer of support and clinical perspective to the Resilient Kids program.

Nine weeks down.

One more week of summer adventures to go.

Next week is a special final week as we have returning campers, returning staff, and our plan is to make some lasting memories!
