From Canada 🇨🇦 to international stages, Jhaime 🇲🇽 & Valentina 🇨🇴 have built their partnership around versatility, athleticism, artistry, and a shared pursuit of excellence.
After placing among the Top 5 in the world in Classic Bachata, they became the 2026 Professional Bachata Couples World Champions, continuing to carry Canadian-based talent onto the international stage.
Their partnership is also the meeting point of two distinct artistic worlds. In Montreal, Jhaime leads Alliance Dance Company, shaped by discipline, performance, family, and legacy. In Quebec City, Valentina co-directs Volendi, where versatility and strong foundations in ballet, contemporary, ballroom, and urban movement shape its identity.
We began this series celebrating the artists who help shape The North.
We close it with two artists carrying The North beyond our borders.

Du Canada 🇨🇦 aux scènes internationales, Jhaime 🇲🇽 & Valentina 🇨🇴 ont construit leur partenariat autour de la polyvalence, de l’athlétisme, de l’expression artistique et d’une même quête d’excellence.
Après s’être classés parmi le Top 5 mondial en Classic Bachata, ils sont devenus champions du monde 2026 en Professional Bachata Couples, poursuivant un parcours qui fait rayonner le talent basé au Canada sur la scène internationale.
Leur partenariat est aussi la rencontre de deux univers artistiques distincts. À Montréal, Jhaime dirige Alliance Dance Company, façonnée par la discipline, la performance, la famille et l’héritage. À Québec, Valentina codirige Volendi, où la polyvalence et de solides bases en ballet, contemporain, danse de salon et mouvements urbains façonnent son identité.
