This spring, Saskatchewan communities once again showed the power of coming together for a good cause – and a good time!

Throughout April and May, supporters across the province hosted events, raised funds, and gave back in support of cancer care. Every dollar raised here, stays here to help support cancer care for patients right here at home.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who planned, attended, volunteered at, and supported these events. Your compassion and generosity are making a real difference across Saskatchewan.

A huge thank you to the Hanley NYE Extravaganza for their continued support of cancer care in Saskatchewan.

Through their New Year’s Eve dance, the Hanley community came together to raise an amazing $5,000 in support of the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan.

Every ticket purchased, every donation made, and every person who joined to ring in the New Year helped make a meaningful impact for cancer patients and their families.

To the organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who attended—thank you for ringing in the new year by giving back and showing the power of community support.

Trenna was only 46 when she felt the lump. In an instant, her world shifted.

When that world-shifting moment comes, cancer patients need to know the very best care and equipment are already there waiting for them. You can help.

Your donation will be matched by a generous friend of the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan. This means that when you support enhanced equipment for Saskatchewan cancer patients, your gift will have twice the impact!

Healing doesn’t happen without you. Please give generously today. Someone like Trenna is counting on you.

Throughout National Indigenous History Month, we encourage staff, patients and communities to explore Indigenous perspectives and deepen their understanding of the histories and experiences that continue to inform health care today.

Last Friday, the team at Saskatchewan South - IG Wealth Management returned for their 20th Annual IG Day of Caring at the Regina Cancer Patient Lodge! 🌼

A team of 18 volunteers spent the day helping refresh and beautify the Lodge, taking on everything from planting flowers and painting curbs to power washing and grounds clean-up. Their hard work helps ensure a warm and welcoming space for guests staying at the Lodge while receiving treatment at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre.

IG’s commitment extends far beyond a single day of volunteering. Since 2020 they have also provided an annual donation of $4,000 to the Regina Cancer Patient Lodge. To date, IG Wealth Management has contributed more than $104,000 to support cancer patients who must travel from their community for treatment in Regina.

Thank you for two decades of caring, giving back, and helping make a difference in the lives of patients and families. ❤️

Sandra Donnelly of Stoughton booked a mammogram while the breast screening bus was visiting a neighbouring town.

The appointment was effortless to schedule and attend, and Sandra was sure that receiving her first mammogram would be just as simple.

But when technicians detected an abnormality, a simple morning -became the start of something far more uncertain.

We are incredibly grateful to MNP for their leadership donation to the Saskatchewan Breast Screening Campaign. Thanks to their generosity, a new SUV will help transport staff and supplies to and from the mobile breast screening trailer – supporting access to life-saving screening for women in communities across Saskatchewan.

By helping bring screening closer to home, MNP is helping to ensure screening is accessible to Saskatchewan women, including women 40+ years starting July 1.

Thank you, MNP, for helping change what’s possible for cancer care right here at home.
