Looking back on the past year, what stands out most isn't just what we accomplished - it's the incredible people who made it all possible.

You.

Together, we completed the Breast Screening Campaign, helping ensure the right equipment was in place as the breast screening age was lowered to 40. You also helped transform the Regina Cancer Patient Lodge into a safer, more comfortable home away from home for patients travelling for treatment.

As you read this year's Donor Report, we hope you'll take a moment to celebrate the impact you've made. From funding innovative research and specialized treatments to improving patient safety and easing the challenges of cancer care.

This August, friends and family came together at Royal Regina Golf Club to celebrate the life and memory of Lynne Erickson with a special day on the golf course. 💚

It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, memories, and plenty of “Lynne stories” as everyone came together to share in the moments that made Lynne so special.

The day was made even more personal with a silent auction featuring six of Lynne’s beautiful paintings, and each guest had the opportunity to choose one of Lynne’s many cherished brooches to take home as a keepsake.

We are incredibly grateful that this meaningful celebration also raised more than $4,500 in Lynne’s memory for the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan. What a beautiful way to honour Lynne while helping make a difference for people affected by cancer in our province.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, shared a story, and helped make this incredible day possible. Lynne’s memory clearly continues to bring people together and make a difference. 💚

We're pleased to welcome Jaclyn Young, Major Gifts Officer in Saskatoon, and Kathy Skomar, Development Officer in Regina.

Jaclyn brings nearly two decades of experience building meaningful relationships across Saskatchewan's business community. Her background in B2B marketing and advertising sales, combined with her strategic approach and commitment to exceptional service, will help strengthen support for cancer care right here at home.

Kathy's career has included fundraising, community engagement, and event leadership roles with STARS, the University of Regina, and TCU Place. Her passion for bringing people together around a shared purpose makes her a valuable addition to our team.

Scott Fitzsimmons was just 42 when he heard the words: “You have Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia”.

His only hope for long-term survival was a stem cell transplant. But that life-saving treatment required him to leave his home and family in Yorkton to live in Saskatoon for four months.

Every day in Saskatchewan, more than 17 people are told they have cancer. Most must travel to the Cancer Centres in Regina or Saskatoon for treatment. For nearly half of our province who live in rural communities, that means long, costly trips, and time away from home. You can help make their cancer journey a little easier.
