Visiting EMI next week? A stretch of Burwell Road will be closed August 17-23. Please follow the posted detour route to access EMI via South Edgeware Road.

Road Closure Notice – Burwell Road 🚧

Please be advised that Burwell Road will be closed August 17–23 for MTO advanced utility crossing work related to the St. Thomas Expressway (Highway 3).

Closure Details:
🔹 Local traffic only: Burwell Road between South Edgeware Road and Edward Street
🔹 Full closure (no through traffic or emergency access across the bridge): Burwell Road from approximately 98 m south of Harwill Road to 190 m south of Harwill Road

A signed detour will be in place via Edward Street, First Avenue, South Edgeware Road, and Burwell Road.

🚗 Local access to businesses will be maintained; however, there will be no access across the MTO bridge during the closure.

Thank you for your patience as this important infrastructure work is completed.

A few weeks ago, we began performing scopes in our new procedure area, marking another exciting step forward for care close to home.

This is one of our procedure rooms, where physicians perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and gastroscopies. These procedures allow care teams to examine the digestive tract using specialized cameras and equipment to help diagnose, monitor, and treat a variety of conditions.

Designed with both patients and clinical teams in mind, the space supports safe and efficient care in a modern environment.

Note: Referrals must be received from a primary care provider. Patients seeking access to services should consult their primary care provider for referral support.

This week, we’re giving you a first look at our recovery room - the space where patients will rest and recover following colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures.

Designed with patient comfort and privacy in mind, this area combines a calm, modern environment with advanced equipment and technology to support the highest quality care possible.

Most importantly, patients will be cared for by an experienced team dedicated to making every visit as safe and comfortable as possible.
