"So excited to set up my new Züm-SP Shower Commode Chair from Raz Design Inc!

Showering and using the bathroom while traveling can be a big hassle, but this chair takes a lot of the guesswork and stress out of it.

The entire chair fits into a suitcase, I can adjust it to fit my body, and I think the coolest feature is that I can use the quick-release wheels from my everyday wheelchair instead of traveling with a second pair of wheels.

The assembly process was much easier than I expected, and now that I’ve done it once, it’s something I can definitely assemble on my own.

As someone who spends a lot of time on the road speaking, finding equipment that helps me stay independent while reducing what I have to pack is a huge win. I’m looking forward to putting this chair to use on future trips and seeing how much easier it makes traveling.

The lower portion of the back frames on all Raz bariatric (RazBari) chairs are angled rearward. This, combined with Tension-Adjustable Back Upholstery, create additional room at the rear to accommodate the gluteal shelf.

This feature allows the client to be more appropriately positioned in the seat, resulting in reduced caster loading and optimization of maneuverability.

The Raz-AT600 tilts to provide safer mechanical lift transfers. The tilted seat surface allows for the client to be lowered further rearward onto the seat. As well, the slope makes it easier to reposition the client rearward until they are fully onto the seat surface.
