3. You don’t have to be alone anymore. I’m here and I’m staying.
4. Tell me more about how you feel.

Start with naming the self-leader you want to have when things go a little sideways or slower than expected-give it a name (the coach/the support/the good friend/the ideal parent/Bob…)
Next, give it a central mantra/expression. “What is its main message”? (You got this/We got this/you can do it/I love you whether you make it or not/)
Lastly, conjure up this self-leader when you feel discouraged. Imagine it saying the mantra, being by your side, cheering you on.
Repeat as many times as possible and adjust as needed.
