It’s such a wonderful coincidence that both authors of My Goals & Wellness Journal celebrate their birthdays in August! At Goals & Wellness, we are big on celebrations, and today we celebrate the birthday of an exceptional Zambian lady, Bwalya Kasanda, one of the two co- authors of My Goals & Wellness Journal.

Bwalya’s journey is defined by knowledge, leadership, creativity, and heart. With an inspiring academic journey, Bwalya embodies the belief that learning is a lifelong pursuit and that true leadership is grounded in wisdom, integrity, and service.

There may be fewer holidays or celebrations this month than in others, but perhaps that’s part of its gift. As we begin a new month and enter the second half of the year, July offers us a chance to embrace freedom, not only in the patriotic sense but also in a personal one. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with ourselves and with those around us. Celebrate community, nurture relationships, and show up with courage and heart. As summer reaches its peak, so does your opportunity to be present, joyful, and boldly authentic.
