If professional development only feels credible when it is exhausting, the model is broken. Imagine refusing to associate with an event because you're scared to look vulnerable? That's what we heard. And that's a problem.

Somewhere along the way, crowded conference rooms, compressed schedules and depletion became signals that the work was serious.

We believe rigor can look different.

The Ceiba Protocol brings together professionals working across privacy, technology and leadership for six days of focused learning, meaningful exchange and considered reflection.

Not an escape from professional development.

An evolution of it.

The Ceiba Protocol is preapproved by the International Association of Privacy Professionals for 12 CPE credits.

Because the environment may be restorative, but the work remains rigorous.

She didn't come to add a wellness session to a conference.

She designed the physical architecture of the entire program.

Mina Grozdeva holds international certifications in Pilates Mat and Reformer (Stott, Michael King, IRPA), the Hypopressive Method, Functional Training, and Global Active Stretching. Over a decade working with high-performance clients on posture, mobility, and nervous system recovery.

At The Ceiba Protocol, movement is not a break between sessions. It is how the brain consolidates what it learns. Mina built the framework around that principle — and she is bringing it to Riviera Maya this October.

Breaches don't stop for a debrief.

They compound. Day one changes day three. Day three changes everything after.

At The Ceiba Protocol, Shawn Ford is running a live, multi day breach simulation, not a case study, not a script. The scenario adapts in real time to the decisions the room makes. What changes isn't the pressure. It's the quality of the conversation around it.

No junior staff. No observers. No vendors. Just senior peers at your level, working through the same stakes you carry every day, with a debrief led by someone who has managed real breaches at the highest level.

This runs inside a fully offline environment, away from the noise that usually pulls attention mid crisis. The kind of focus you never get in a real incident.

Built for senior women in tech, cybersecurity, and AI who already know the technical playbook.

What gets trained here is harder to teach: clear thinking under pressure, and the ability to keep adapting as the ground shifts beneath you.

If you lead through risk, this is the room.

By noon, your brain may already be working for everyone but you.
That is why your morning matters.
Your capacity for deliberate decisions is limited. When you begin the day reacting to messages, requests and other people’s priorities, you use that capacity before your most important decisions have even begun.
A small victory changes the pattern.
Not by jumping on your computer and completing more work.
By doing something for yourself first.
A Pilates session.
A walk by the beach.
One small, meaningful action that gives something back to you before the day starts taking.
For women whose work demands constant decisions, this creates a powerful psychological advantage.
Humans are deeply sensitive to reciprocity. When we continually give without replenishing, the imbalance becomes a stressor. Research on effort and reward imbalance has linked this pattern with activity in the body’s stress system, although the effects vary between individuals.
And when you are depleted, saying no becomes harder.
Tolerating someone’s disappointment becomes harder. Evaluating another request becomes harder. Expressing what you need becomes harder.
The automatic yes becomes easier.
So the less you replenish yourself, the more likely you are to accept more work, more pressure and more stress, even when it does not serve you.
Your morning victory is not an indulgence.
It is how you hack your brain into taking control before the day takes control of you.
Social engineering for the brain.

Here’s what the jungle of the Riviera Maya has to offer.

Five days on a private estate, where the agenda includes a decision instrument you build session by session, tested against a single incident that escalates the entire time you’re there.

Four disciplines: threat exposure, AI governance, legal reasoning, executive accountability. Twenty women operating at your level, working through the calls you actually have to make, with your own real decision pressure tested before you leave.

Credited for 12 hours of CPE by the IAPP
Hosted by O N Z E

Leaders... Let's rethink work.

What's one workplace norm you'd stop accepting tomorrow if you could?

We're reading every answer.

07/30/2026

We've become very good at teaching people how to cope.

Stress management.
Time management.
Mindfulness.
Resilience.

All valuable.

But what if we're asking the wrong question?

Instead of asking "How can people tolerate this?"

Maybe we should be asking "Why have we designed work this way in the first place?"

A culture of constant availability isn't the same as a culture of high performance.

The best leaders don't just optimize people.

They create environments where people can think clearly, recover intentionally, and do meaningful work without running on empty.

That's what we're exploring at Ceiba Wellness.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can do isn't optimize yourself.

It's question the system.

If this resonates with you, follow us. We're rethinking what sustainable leadership can look like.

07/28/2026

The best leaders don't just build successful careers.

They create space for others to grow alongside them.

At Ceiba Wellness, we believe leadership isn't about having all the answers. It's about sharing experiences, opening doors, and creating environments where ambitious women can connect without competition.

Because when one woman succeeds, it doesn't make the table smaller.

It reminds us there's always room to build a bigger one.

If you're looking for a community of women who believe leadership is stronger when it's shared, you're in the right place.

Follow and join us as we build it, one conversation at a time.

For years, we've celebrated hustle.

Always available.
Always connected.
Always "on."

But the leaders who sustain high performance over years, not just weeks, understand something different.

Recovery isn't the reward for hard work.

It's what makes great work possible.

That's one of the principles behind the Ceiba Protocol.

We intentionally alternate focused work, strategic conversations, movement, nature, reflection, and genuine rest because we believe sustainable performance comes from rhythm, not constant output.

You don't become a better leader by pushing harder.

You become a better leader by creating the conditions to think more clearly, make better decisions, and show up fully for the people who depend on you.

If you're rethinking what leadership and performance should look like, follow .

We're building a different kind of offsite.

Offline, by design.

Every great business starts with one conversation.

Vanessa runs a cybersecurity law firm.

Darcie spent years building a tech recruiting firm.

We both knew what constant pressure, endless notifications, and back-to-back meetings felt like.

One day, Vanessa pointed out something we'd never noticed before:

**Every high performer we knew had one thing in common. They had a hobby that forced them to disconnect.**

For Vanessa, it's Pilates.

For Darcie, it's scuba diving.

Those aren't just hobbies.

They're environments where your mind gets quiet because your body has to be fully present.

That conversation became Ceiba Wellness.

We started asking ourselves:

**Why are so many corporate offsites filled with presentations, yet leave people just as exhausted as when they arrived?**

We believed there was a better balance.

A place where strategic work and meaningful conversations are paired with intentional recovery.

Where leadership sessions are followed by movement.

Where difficult decisions are followed by time in nature.

Where reconnecting with your body and your breath isn't separate from high performance. It's what makes it possible.

That's why we created the Ceiba Protocol.

A framework designed to help leaders disconnect from constant input, lower stress, think more clearly, and leave with practical tools they can bring back to work.

Because productivity isn't about doing more.

It's about creating the conditions to do your best thinking.

If this is the kind of leadership experience you've been looking for, follow along. We're just getting started.
