The Anxiety Disorders Association of Manitoba is offering a free Coaching For Confidence program for parents, caregivers, and support people of children with anxiety 12 and under.
This program consists of:

8 week, no cost, sessions led by a trained peer support worker
The goal is to learn more about anxiety in children (12 and under) and how to support them
Throughout 8 weeks participants work through the course manual in virtual group sessions, discuss materials and share experiences .

Starting to review books for the 2027 Purple Day Bunny Hop.
Has anyone read these and have any thoughts to share?

We are always challenged to find new books that are age appropriate, convey the information in a positive manner and are in a price range we can afford. We try not to use the same book we have already given out.

We are also always open to recommendations if you have any to share!

September is Buyer Appreciation Celebration Month!! Your One Great Lottery Ticket purchases have made it possible for ESAM to send out Epilepsy Purple Day Bunny Hop kits to over 2400 students and staff at daycares and classrooms! We were also able to purchase Purple Day Bunny Hop bracelets to everyone registered. Each class was sent a children’s book about Epilepsy. THANK YOU very much!!💜💜💜💜

Epilepsy Southern Alberta ( formally known as Epilepsy Association of Calgary) is offering two programs to families living with epilepsy. Uplift is a program that teaches skills for managing our epilepsy. Paces is an epilepsy management and self- care program also. Check out the posters below to register. Starts September 24th for an hour each time.
