TODAY’S SENSORY DEN TEAM: GORDON & THOMAS! 🧹✨

Before they could enjoy their sensory den session, there was some important work to be done! Gordon and Thomas rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into helping clean and prepare the area, making sure everything was ready for a relaxing session.

It’s great to see everyone taking pride in their environment, building independence, and working together as a team. Safe to say all that hard work was worth it once the sensory den was ready to enjoy! 💙

🦋 BUTTERFLY RELEASE DAY 🦋

For the past couple of weeks, we’ve been watching our baby caterpillars grow and transform into beautiful butterflies. Today was the day we finally released them into the big wide world! 🌿☀️
Along the way, we learned all about the butterfly life cycle, from tiny caterpillars to chrysalises and finally beautiful butterflies. We also enjoyed some butterfly-themed colouring competitions and creative activities. 🎨🦋

It has been amazing to watch this journey unfold and see everyone so engaged and excited. A wonderful learning experience for all involved! 💛✨

🌻🐠 After our super busy party day yesterday, we decided to enjoy a much calmer day today! We spent time relaxing in the sensory room, painted stones ready for next week’s activity, planted our sunflowers, and enjoyed watching our new baby fish in their tank.

A lovely day filled with creativity, nature, and relaxation – the perfect way to recharge after all the excitement! 💛😊

AERA’S 3RD BIRTHDAY! 🎉

What an amazing day we’ve had today! We started off the morning with a visit from ELVIS, then this afternoon we had a visit from jen’s ice cream van and we ended the day with games and a disco.
Thank you to everyone who joined us today and a massive thank you also to Maz, Adam and Rod we wouldn’t be here today without you🫶🏽

✨MEET THE TEAM✨

Hi I’m Bethany (Beth), and I’ve been a support worker for over 4 years. I’m very passionate about personalised support & enriching peoples lives and experiences, and I’m so pleased to be a part of the Aera team who share that devotion.

I am known as someone who recognises & appreciates all the ‘little’ details and joys and I thrive from having a creative outlet myself, whether that’s baking & cake decorating, drawing, photography or documenting my travelling!
I also regularly play in a netball team/league and that has improved my life in many ways, especially as someone who was never sporty before or believed that they could be!
So I really care about everyone having opportunities to meet their interests & discover more🥰

I’ve been with Aera officially for 2 months now and I am absolutely loving it, though I’ve volunteered with them in the past and so it’s been a massive pleasure to watch them grow & I’m excited for what’s to come 💛Aera Support Community Group
