We’ve had our Aera Support sign up for TWO whole years now! 🥳
And a little reminder of just how far we’ve come in those two years! 👀✨ We have a thriving community, an amazing team, incredible service users, our very own Sensory Den, new activities, new opportunities, friendships, memories, events, laughter and SO much more! 🫶🏼

That sign has watched us grow, change, learn, overcome challenges and become the Aera Support we are today. 💚
And the best bit? We’re only just getting started! 🚀

💙 LOCAL RESPITE SERVICES NEEDED! 💙

We’re looking to connect with local respite services or Personal Assistants (PAs) who offer respite care for adults with disabilities.

We’d love to build up a list of trusted local services and individuals who may be able to support families who are looking for short-term respite, additional support, or a well-deserved break for carers. 🫶

If you provide respite, know someone who does, or run a local service that may be suitable, please comment below or send us a message! 👇

We’d love to hear from you and hopefully help connect families with the right support. 💙

The kids are back at school, which means only one thing… THE SPORTS HALL IS OURS TO RECLAIM! 😂🏃‍♀️🏀

We’ve had a super fun sports activity morning, getting everyone moving, competing and having plenty of laughs! 💪🏼⚽️ Then it was back to Aera to make some delicious homemade soup using our home-grown vegetables from the garden 🥕🥔🌱 Nothing beats food you’ve grown and cooked yourselves! 👩‍🍳❤️

🌈👀 A colourful day in Group! 👀🌈

Today we had lots of fun playing Colour Eye Spy - keeping our eyes peeled for all the different colours around us!

We also headed out into the garden and picked some of our lovely homegrown vegetables, ready to prep for tomorrow’s soup-making session. We can’t wait to see (and taste! 👀) what we create! 🍲🧅
☕️ And of course, no day out is complete without a trip to Woodland Walk Café for lunch! 🥪😋

Thank you so much to everyone who came along to our very first Psychic Medium Night! 💜

We had such a lovely evening, and we’re absolutely thrilled to announce that together we raised £255 for Aera Support!🫶🏽 Your support means so much to us and helps us continue providing amazing opportunities and experiences for the people we support aaaaaaand because you all made it such a success, we’re doing it again! 🔮👻

📅 Our next Psychic Medium Night will be in April 2027!

🍪 THE GREAT AERA BISCUIT TASTING! 👀🍪

Before heading off to Wetherspoons for lunch, we obviously had some very important educational work to do👀😂

Today’s lesson: BISCUITS! 🍪📚
We put a selection of biscuits to the ultimate taste test and after some very serious research, our winners were…

🥇 Custard Creams
🥈 Bourbons

And of course, we discovered that ALL biscuits taste even better with a good old cuppa! ☕🍪 Because what’s a biscuit tasting without a cup of tea?!
Chloe is STILL absolutely fuming that her beloved Fig Rolls didn’t come out on top! 😂😭🍪

There were some strong opinions, questionable judging and plenty of biscuit consumption… all in the name of education, of course! 👀😂

🧡🐈 HAPPY GINGER P***Y DAY! 🐈🧡

Apparently today is Ginger Cat Appreciation Day and obviously we couldn’t let such an important occasion pass us by! 😂

So today at Aera Support, everyone has been getting crafty and creative, colouring and making their very own ginger pu***es! 🐈🧡🎨✂️
We’ve had a whole lot of orange, plenty of creativity and, thankfully, absolutely NO fighting over the catnip! 😂
