💙 Volunteers' Week 2026 💙

This Volunteers' Week, we're celebrating amazing volunteers who make a huge difference at SEN Fit CIC today it is.....

🌟 Sarah, she leads our weekly Couch to OK sessions at Shipley Park and has been incredible in helping participants build confidence, improve wellbeing and get moving. After training with us as a Run and Walk Leader, she has brought endless energy, encouragement and positivity to every session. Always welcoming, supportive and ready with a smile, Sarah helps everyone feel they belong.

🌟 Lesley is a valued volunteer at our Adults with Neurodiversity group. Her calm, caring and reliable support helps make every session a success. From planning activities to supporting participants, she plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone who attends.

Both Sarah and Lesley give their time, kindness and dedication so generously, and our sessions simply wouldn't be the same without them.

👏 Thank you both for everything you do. We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of the SEN Fit family.

Three years of SEN-Fit 💙

From our very first circuit classes to becoming a whole community of support — it’s been an incredible journey.

In our first summer, we ran 9 holiday clubs supporting 13 children. Today, we’re supporting over 180 children across two venues, with more sessions, more services, and more families than ever before.

But for us, it’s never just been about numbers. It’s about the confidence built, the friendships formed, the parents who feel less alone, and the safe space we’ve created together.

Thank you to every family who’s been part of our journey so far — and to those just joining us, we’re so glad you’re here 💙

If SEN-Fit has helped your family, we’d love a short message we can share (with permission).

We would all appreciate your votes 🥰

Three years ago, SEN-Fit started with a simple goal: creating inclusive circuit classes where children and families felt welcome, supported, and understood. 💙

In our very first summer, we ran 9 holiday clubs supporting 13 children.
Today, we support over 180 children across two venues, delivering more sessions, more services, and more opportunities than we ever imagined possible.

What began as fitness classes has grown into a whole community of support — a place where children build confidence, families find connection, friendships are formed, and everyone is accepted exactly as they are. 🌟

From fitness and wellbeing sessions to holiday clubs, creative activities, support groups, and social clubs, every session is built around inclusion, encouragement, and belonging.

To every family who has trusted us, every child who has walked through our doors, and every supporter who has helped SEN-Fit grow — thank you. You are part of this journey too. 🙌

And we’re only just getting started ✨

If SEN-Fit has helped your family, we’d love a short message we can share (with permission).
