Jensen has started his evening shifts at The Coopers to gain more experience of working independently and preparing for future paid employment. During his shifts, he worked extremely well and experienced the fast-paced environment of evening service.🍽️

This has helped build his confidence, independence, and understanding of workplace expectations throughout his Supported Internship. 👏

Curtis has had a fantastic time taking part in a Nando’s team-building day alongside other employees, showing just how well he has settled into the team. He communicates confidently with staff and continues to build positive working relationships throughout his Supported Internship.🌟

He also enjoyed a fun-filled day at Rother Valley, where he took part in water games and a range of exciting activities with others. Curtis is working incredibly hard in his internship and has become a valued and respected member of the team. It has been brilliant to see his confidence, teamwork, and enthusiasm continue to grow throughout his Supported Internship.👏

From kebabs and pitta breads to a range of tasty dishes, Joe worked incredibly hard helping prepare food for the event and showed great dedication throughout the day 👏

CC has been doing brilliantly in her Supported Internship at the Foxglove, helping prepare meals for customers and continuing to build her hospitality skills. 👏

During her placement, she’s grown in confidence, developed new skills, and become a valued member of the team.

Supported Internships give learners the opportunity to gain real workplace experience while building skills for future employment.

David has successfully completed his travel training and is now able to travel independently to his Supported Internship. 🎉

This is a fantastic achievement and a real reflection of the progress David has made in building his confidence, independence, and life skills.

Being able to travel independently is an important step towards preparing for the world of work and future independence, and David should be incredibly proud of everything he has achieved.
