Unique U is a privately owned establishment, studio itself is a Unique and innovative private training facility built with functionality and individuality at the forefront of our focus. This enables us to offer assistance to any individual that walks through our door, whether its their first time exercising or they are a trained athlete. The facility itself allows members and clients to workout i

n privately, in confidence without the fear of being watched or having the huge mass of custom you would find in commercial health clubs. We have focused our efforts on equipping the facility as functionally as possible, as we understand the importance of functional training and the rewards it can reap. Functional Training - Exercise methods that trains the body for movements performed in daily life. This allows for the human body to be better shaped, co-ordinatley balanced and reduces the risk of injuries. Equipped with an extensive range of equipment such as: kettlebells, TRX's, Battle ropes, squat racks, dumbbells & much more. Be sure to have fun filled workout that can accommodate and be tailored to your needs.

Gyms can be intimidating, be honest does this lot look that scary ?

We wouldn’t say so ! Now we can accept that gym environments can be daunting and many of the people you see in this photo probably felt like you once.

But they were welcomed not just by the coaches but other members who shared similar interests and goals. The very same people who act as another support network in your journey.

You’re not alone here and most start with us because they are fed up of doing it on their own and getting to nowhere.

Most women don’t start training because they suddenly feel motivated.

They start because they realise what they might lose if nothing changes.

Over time we hear the same things from women before they begin:

• Energy levels dropping
• Feeling weaker than they used to
• Confidence in their body fading
• Feeling sluggish or stuck in unhealthy routines

And once they finally start training?

The sentence we hear most is:

“I wish I had started sooner.”

In our latest blog, some of the women at Unique U shared the real reasons they decided to start training.
