Many thanks to all that came to the wellbeing and craft fayre at Christ the King today. I held soundbaths during the day and my mum helped by selling suncatchers, bracelets and other bits and bobs and talking to people about where and how the money raised will help. We are pleased to say we raised £150 which is going directly to Sophia's Animal Rescue in Macedonia to help raise funds for Tina. Tina is such a lovely dog who is available for adoption, so far she has been waiting for 6 years for her forever family to choose her. But nobody has come forward. Unfortunately Tina has leishmaniasis which isn't contagious but sadly is incurable so will require long term medication. Sophia's Rescue are desperately trying to raise money to keep this beautiful girl safe in kennels where she can have her regular medication. Unfortunately funds are extremely low and they are begging for any help even if it's pennies, every little bit counts. It really really does. It will come a time where there are no funds left as they are over run with huge debts already and Tina will have to return to the streets of Macedonia of which she was saved. It is here that she won't be able to have her regular medication and she will inevitably lose the battle against her illness.
Please if you can't help by donating or giving her a home then please share this post, you never know, it may be seen by the family she so desperately wants. Tina is a gentle soul, good with dogs and children over 6/7. Her time being safe is slipping away so am doing everything I can to help. Every penny we raised today will be for Tina.
