EP Race Report 17/05/26
Well done to everyone who raced ๐๐ป๐๐ป
First up a special mention has to go to James Griffiths who made his England Masters debut at the Bideford 10k and although it was certainly not a PB course James represented his country extremely well with a fine 33:46 ๐ฅ
Helen Bird took on the mid week killer killer race which is basically a brutal 1 mile run uphill to the top of Mow Cop ๐ฅต Helen put in a top effort with a time of 10:34 which got her 2nd female in the fun run race A and a PB from last year ๐ช๐ป
Dale Emerson has recently joined the group to try and help him improve his run element for Hyrox events. Heโs made an excellent start with a 9min PB at the Chester Half Marathon in a time of 2:11 ๐๐ป
Hayley Green was at the Nantwich Tri where she continues her fine progress with a superb 1:00:23 performance that placed her 6th female overall ๐๐ป
Also at Nantwich Tri was Pat Hudson who had a super race crossing the line in 53:20 which placed him 15th overall and 3rd in his AG. More impressive was this was off the back of a hard 5k race at Christleton on Friday night where Pat appears to be making progress back to where he belongs with a strong run in a time of 18:51 โ๐ผ
Vicky Willis who has recently joined the group took on her first ever triathlon this weekend at the Outlaw Sprint. Vic did amazing and completed it in a time of 1hour 36 mins and although she had some swim fears she overcame them to finish really strong ๐๐ป
Scott Houston was also at the Outlaw sprint event which was his first tri outing of the year. Scott had a strong performance across the three disciplines and finished in 1hour 11mins placing him 13 in his AG ๐๐ป
Stu Elsam had a run out at the Aintree 10k last weekend off the back of his London marathon and was using it as a training run and helping out a friend๐๐ป
Mick Hutchins was in TT action this week as he prepares for his upcoming Duathlon. Tuesday he had a hit out at his local 10m TT and crossed the line in 24:29. He then followed this up with todayโs 25m TT at Dracott near Uttoxter and although less than favourable conditions still managed a strong 57:43 ๐ช๐ป
Well done everyone ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
