Hollymere House celebrated Super Heroes day on Friday, and we welcomed Rise who delivered a fun packed super sonic theme for our residents. 🦹🦹‍♀️🦹‍♂️🦸‍♀️ They were all prepared for battle, and fought to the bitter end.🥅🏑🥎⚽️.🦾🤣 Unfortunately there could only be one winner🏆 After we held a hero's party, to refuel, with lots of super hero drinks, treats, music,and hero quiz. 🍇🍍🍏🫐🥨🍗🧁🍬🧃🥤The highlight of the day was finding out our super hero names by using the letters of our first and last names. Mine being Atomic Surfer.🤣🤣

A few highlights of some of the goings on at Hollymere House. We've celebrated 2 special birthdays in July, Linda who has been coming to the home for 20 yrs to do our weekly church service and the other was one of our lovely ladies. I also had the privilege of escorting another of our lovely ladies to her Grandson's wedding, which was a truly amazing day. These are just a few, lots more to follow.😊😍

Hollymere & Primrose are holding a tea party on Tuesday 11th of August from 2.00 pm in our central garden. There will be Tea, Pimm's, lashings of cake and great entertainment from the lovely Esther. 🍵☕🧋 🍰🎶🎵💃🧃. We would love for families and friends to join us for a very English Afternoon on the lawn.🌹 😎☺️

Yesterday Hollymere House made the most of the weather and had a day of trips out in the mini bus. 🌞😁 In the morning we visited Queens Park with 2 of our lovely ladies.They enjoyed watching the wildlife before enjoying a treat in the cafe.Then an afternoon of shopping at Astbury Meadows Garden centre, where another of our ladies couldn't resist treating herself to a new bag👜 and cold drinks and cakes all round to finish of the day. 😉😁
