A new support group focusing on grief and loss, starts in August..

Something I am asked about often is whether grief ever gets easier.
My honest answer is: it doesn't get smaller. But you can learn to carry it differently.
I am opening a small Grief and Loss Support Group in Dalkeith this August — a structured, in-person group for people who are navigating loss and want more than just somewhere to talk. Over ten sessions we work with what grief actually does — to the body, to your sense of who you are, and to the relationships around you.
This is not a drop-in. It is a small, carefully held group — maximum 12 people — with a clear structure and real therapeutic depth.
Every Monday from 3 August 2026
6:00pm — 7:30pm
Dalkeith town centre

£300 Early Bird — book before 31 July
£350 thereafter

It's a great time of year for doing a bit of gardening. This year I have planted different types of sunflower seeds in little pots - some are sprouting and growing nicely and others not so much... It had to be sunflowers as I work from the Sunflower room at Mysa!

2 photos of the centre of Dalkeith, taken 120 years apart. You can't see the entrance to Mysa Therapy Rooms from the photos, but it is located at the left side of what was previously the Co op building right in the middle of both photos, the building with the clock and spire. It's great to be in a building that is an important part of local history.
