Yes, there is swelling immediately after treatment, and some bruising can occur — both are completely normal after dermal filler. As the lips settle and the swelling reduces, the final result becomes even more refined. 💕

✨ M-SHAPED LIPS — NATURALLY EVENED & ENHANCED ✨

A beautiful example of how dermal filler can be used to balance and enhance the natural shape of the lips without making them look overdone. 💋

This client had naturally M-shaped lips, with unevenness in the lip border and shape. Using carefully placed dermal filler, we have:

✨ Evened out the shape
✨ Created a more defined lip border
✨ Added subtle fullness
✨ Given the lips a gentle, lifted appearance
✨ Kept the overall result natural and in proportion

The aim wasn't to create a completely different set of lips — just to enhance what was already there and create a smoother, more balanced appearance. 🤍

The after photo was taken shortly after treatment, so you can see some bruising and swelling, which is completely normal and expected following dermal filler treatment.
A little Arnica cream has been applied to the lips in the after photograph to help with the appearance of bruising.

💉 Dermal filler treatments are bespoke, and results will vary from person to person. The lips will continue to settle as the initial swelling reduces, revealing the final result over the coming days.
