Yesterday I received the most beautiful, heartfelt review from a truly lovely regular client, and honestly...it brought happy tears to my eyes.
Moments like these are such a gentle reminder of why I started Meadowsweet Wellbeing all those years ago.
To be trusted to hold space for someone going through trauma, healing, recovery and life's tender seasons is something that I feel incredibly privilged to do. It made me realise just how meaningful safe spaces, gentle led care and being truly seen can make such a big impact.
This is what is at the heart of all the work that I do here, at my Meadowsweet cabin. Amongst the mature planted garden, the light, the wind, the birdsong. Allowing you a chance to exhale, and breathe.
Thank you Rosie, for allowing me to be part of your journey and sharing your beautiful words here. ✨💚
A little local business shoutout today 🩵
Yesterday I finally took an hour for myself and went to Meadowsweet Wellbeing for a massage with the lovely Melita.
As many of you know, running Little City can be quite a physical job and after 4 busy days in a row setting up the City, my body was definitely holding onto a lot of tension! From the moment I stepped into her beautiful garden cabin I felt calmer. It’s such a peaceful, welcoming space and for the first time in a while I properly switched off from the endless to-do list in my head.
Melita gave the most wonderful full body massage and because she is also a trained Reiki practitioner, treatments always feel incredibly thoughtful and tailored to exactly what you need.
Also if, like me, you have a history of cancer or health concerns around treatments, Melita is so knowledgeable, gentle and reassuring in how she adapts sessions to suit you.
I’ve been going to her for the last 4 years and always leave feeling lighter, calmer and much more like myself again if I’ve been having a wobble. I very rarely post recommendations like this on the Little City page, but she truly deserves one 🩵
If you’re local to the Didcot area and feel like you could do with a bit of time for yourself, I can wholeheartedly recommend following her page and booking in with her. You can’t pour from an empty cup ✨
