Active Independence We are an charity run by Disabled people offering support, advocacy and training to Disabled people. We don't think disability is dealt with very well.

We are a disabled person's user led organisation in Doncaster. We offer advice, support and assistance to anyone encountering one of the many barriers facing disabled people, and those who care for them. We're here to change that.

'Guess the Lucky Number' Competitions: Enter for just £1 for a chance to win one of our stunning handmade quilts — choose between the Home Sweet Home Quilt (draw on 30th October) or the Christmas Quilt (draw on 2nd December)! All proceeds directly support our Art of Wellbeing sessions.

Exhibition Entries: Head over to the Made in Rotherham Horticultural Show Tent (Pitch 4) to check out some wonderful competition entries from our members, including quilting, crochet, bunting, embroidery, and floral displays!

We had another fantastic session at Crafting Together: Recycling for Good! Last week, participants tried their hand at needle felting, creating these wonderfully colourful picture landscapes and designs.

One of our long-time participants shared that the group offers an exceptionally inclusive and welcoming environment.

A brand new member enjoyed her very first session so much that when she realised it conflicted with a standing weekly appointment, she immediately set out to reschedule her appointments so she wouldn't have to miss future sessions!

It is so heartening to see new friendships formed, skills shared, and a welcoming space built for everyone.

The Cycle Track before anyone arrives. The grey building is a Disabled toilet and changing room and there are some indoors too. The Group is there every Friday morning from 9.30am - 12.30pm. Come and join us. All Welcome. Helmets provided and an Instructor on hand. Rides Free xx
