A bit about how I teach: alongside yoga, I’m a qualified Feldenkrais Practitioner, which means my classes aren’t just about getting into a pose, they’re about how you move and organise yourself to get there.

Sensation over pushing. Feeling rather than achieving.

Nourishing, curious, kind to your joints. And with a little sprinkling of that brain re-wiring Feldy magic. Perfect if you’ve ever thought ‘yoga’s not for me’ because of stiffness, pain, or feeling uncoordinated. This is for you.

Starts next Thursday 3rd Sept.
9.30am at Newton Hall Community Centre. Four-week courses running through the season — all welcome, no experience needed. £40/month or £12 drop-in.

And if you’re curious to see how it feels on the table, drop me a message and we’ll get you booked in for a 1:1 ✨

Four days until we begin.

Here’s what the first session looks like:

We start lying down. Slow, subtle movement from the Feldenkrais method, not stretching, not exercising. Just noticing. Getting curious about your body.

Then we move into the lateral breath.
The foundation of everything in hypopressives.
By the end of the first evening you’ll already have something you can take home and use.

3 days. Coxhoe.
A 3wk Somatic Course for Pelvic Health. Thursday 6.30pm.

So I found a lady in Canada doing something with a name I couldn’t pronounce.

Hypo - press - ives

We worked together over Skype, her in lycra, me in pyjamas. The postures were strange, the breathing even stranger. I gave it a go but life moved on.
When symptoms came back I knew I needed it again. This time I found it had been brought to the UK, went deeper, committed properly.

And things began to change…
I felt more connected through my centre than I ever had. Practically symptom free from prolapse.

And when I felt back to being me again I just couldn’t understand why more people didn’t know about .
I had to train as a teacher.

3wk Course starts Thursday 2nd July, Coxhoe. Book via lornasmithmovewell.co.uk/classes or link in bio

Nine years ago I felt broken in my body. Not injured, just… weak. Like my posture was failing me somehow. Pregnancy, birth, carrying a toddler and the emotional load of new motherhood. So I did what made sense. I hired a personal trainer. Months later I finally got a diagnosis: prolapse. And the kegels the gp recommended? Honestly got me nowhere. This is where the story gets interesting…… stay tuned to understand how I became symptom free
