🎓 Heading to university? Make sure your MenACWY protection is sorted.

The MenACWY vaccination helps protect against four major strains of meningococcal bacteria that can cause meningitis and sepsis, particularly important when living and socialising in busy, crowded environments such as university halls.

💉 MenACWY vaccinations are available at Pinhoe Pharmacy.

The vaccination may also be required for those travelling for Hajj or Umrah.

🎧 Another unusual find at Pinhoe Pharmacy!

The other week, our pharmacist Fiona successfully removed an earbud tip that had become lodged inside a patient’s ear.

It’s a good reminder for anyone who regularly uses earbuds or in-ear headphones: always check that the tips are still attached when you take them out. If something is missing or your ear suddenly feels blocked, avoid trying to remove it yourself and seek professional advice.

We also offer a professional microsuction earwax removal service at Pinhoe Pharmacy, using gentle suction to safely clear troublesome earwax.

👂 Consultation: £10
👂 Microsuction: £40 per ear
If treatment is required, the consultation fee is included in the treatment price.

If you’re booking for earwax removal, please use olive oil for at least four days before your appointment.
